Overall, the atmosphere is generic but the food and beer selection are pretty good! I came in here for dinner and a beer while staying nearby for a work meeting. They have a great happy hour menu (two barbacoa tacos are a good size for a sensible dinner) and the regular menu has lots of good options. Night two I went for the seared tuna Cali bowl and it was fantastic, my friend had the birria quesadilla and said it was also very good. I would definitely recommend it for a quick, easy dinner with a good beer on the side.

My husband and I visit this brewery regularly. I’d say it has become our go-to spot since we go almost once a week. It’s a classic American-style brewery. The staff are very polite and friendly, and the bartenders in particular make you feel truly at home. There’s also a great variety of beers and the food options are excellent. The burger, especially, is amazing
If you ever come to Bethesda, it’s definitely worth a visit.

We loved our food! We got the hot honey wings and they were delicious. Our waitress, Chelsey, was wonderful.

World of Beer is a fantastic place to go after work with your coworkers. It has a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding.

The drink menu is incredible with over 500 types of beer. This means everyone can find something they like, and it’s fun to try new beers too.

The food is also great. We couldn’t get enough of the Mac and Cheese Bites. They’re crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and we ended up ordering more than one round. The Shrimp Tacos are another winner if you’re looking for something lighter but still tasty.

The staff are super friendly and know a lot about beer. They make sure you’re taken care of and help you pick the perfect drink if you’re unsure.

Overall, World of Beer has it all: great drinks, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. It’s an excellent choice for a coworker hangout during happy hour.

Chelsey was great. Place got so busy and she handled the entire restaurant until the next shift came in. She had a smile on her face the entire time, never pushy just on point with everything. We love this place- great sports and great food. Love the wings nachos and burgers!!

Their draft list is long enough to make your head spin. Everyone here is lovely. It’s pretty standard street parking out front. The food is great. Overall a good place to eat whether local or visiting.

Now here’s a spot where you get good food topped with great customer service. We tried this after an unpleasant experience at Caddies. Glad we tried this spot… definitely enjoyed the Superbowl here. I believe our waiter was Mike… big guy who definitely made it a great experience. Everyone in the place was hyped at the halftime show… definitely a cool environment to grab a beer w/ good company.

UPDATE: Went back just to have drinks and had the pleasure of meeting Blue the bartender. The folks working here really are the coolest and the drinks are good

Absolutely love this place! The staff are the best, the selection is great, the food is good though I do wish for more vegetarian options. It’s a very friendly and fun environment, great place to watch games, do trivia, or meet up for happy hour. Easily my favorite bar and restaurant in Bethesda!

It was unfortunate that the service was a miss because the food and drinks were great. It was a busy trivia night, so I understand there may be some delay. However, when our server went MIA for about 40 minutes I noticed there was a new server serving the tables around us. I thought maybe there was a shift change, so I tried to get Aimee’s attention several times but she ignored me. Finally after the fifth attempt she turned around and met me with the biggest attitude. I just wanted to know who my server was so I can pay my bill and leave, yet she acted as if acknowledging a customer required overtime. She reluctantly said she would find our server, but another 20 minutes go by and she has checked everyone else out even giving them discounts but we were just left there still waiting to pay. Needless to say this was extremely frustrating and rude.

We came to World of Beer in Bethesda to celebrate our anniversary, but unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We waited about 20 minutes after being seated and no one came by to bring menus or take our order. While waiting, my wife’s shirt got caught on splinters from the wooden table, tearing it badly. It completely ruined our evening and we ended up leaving. We’ve always liked this place, but this visit was really upsetting — I hope management addresses the table condition and overall service.
