It’s also really vegan friendly with plenty of delicious plant based options.
Front of house is very sweet and friendly, it’s always so nice to see her again. It’s all around a wonderful restaurant and of you’ve read this far, you definitely should go!!
I called the same day asking for a refund and was told it was “too late” because it was 7 hours later. Manager was supposed to call Wednesday (Tuesday closed) and didn’t. When I called again Thursday, they still refused any refund.
Food was also underwhelming (rice not warm; “lemongrass chicken” tasted mostly sweet/salty). The bigger issue is hygiene + how it was handled. I won’t be back.
EDIT: I would also like to add about other reviews. A good number of the one star reviews stem from customers complaining about the restaurant policies. This is disappointing, because the policies listed are incredibly reasonable.
1) No outside food or drink. How people are mad at this one is beyond me. This is a no-brainer for basic restaurant etiquette.
2) Charge for restroom without meal purchase. This only arises when a group tried to use the bathroom without paying for a meal. Standard practice in pretty much any bigger city / local place.
3)Minimum purchase required. In order to make high-quality food, you need high-quality ingredients. These cost a lot of money. The quality here definitely justifies it, and this is also a standard practice in many places as well.
4)No speakerphone usage. C’mon guys, nobody wants to hear your private conversations. Not the guests, nor the staff.
5) 20% gratuity charge on dine-in. Also pretty reasonable considering the low cost and quality of the food and is (again) standard practice in many places.
In conclusion, I personally feel that many of the 1-star reviews are completely unwarranted.
I’ve walked past this place many times on my way home. For the last three years I kept wanting to walk in but the signs on the door seemed aggressive.. Last week I decided to just give it a try and see what they had to offer.
The restaurant is small and cozy dimly-lit and there’s music playing softly in the back, and the atmosphere is great.
The menu has a wide selection for those who do not enjoy (or can not enjoy) shellfish/Meats.
I ordered the Thai Bbq Campling w| Shrimp (Medium heat) (but can have Pork/Chicken as another option) and a Ginger Cooler (Just a fancy ginger ale but amazing).
Now just to be fair I went back the next day with my husband. I ordered the same meal this time mild still spicy but AWESOME. My love ordered the Grilled salmon w| Rice with a strawberry lemonade, and he loved it. Only complain was that it needed to be cooked a few minutes more on one side.
I’m literally just knocking off one star because I went in today and ordered the Thai Sweet chilli soup bowl with rice noodles and was disappointed. The waitress felt really bad I just did not realize how strong the shrimp paste was in taste. She was sweet as always. Just dont ever leave food on your plate! She looks confused when you do lol. Like she’s saying “How dare you” but shes really nice.
Overall great experience each time I go. The portions are big, filling and priced fairly. I love that its so close to my home as well. Huge plus.
Thank you so much for the great time and friendly service.
Ooooh food came out in a reasonable time.
