Hidden gem for homemade food!! Newer chef and menu and he makes his food from scratch. Brought our kids.

We brought our kids for dinner and had an unexpectedly great meal–calzones and sourdough pizza, plus homemade cheesecake and brownies. I do not normally get cheesecake but trust me – this is SO good. Everything is made from scratch, including the sourdough, calzone dough, and pizza sauce, and desserts.

We ordered personal pizzas, but the large ones looked huge–lots of people were enjoying them in the bar area.

When we walked in, we weren’t sure what to expect. There are two entrances–one to a busy saloon for adults and was quite busy for a Tuesday), and one to an empty back dining area near the kitchen. We chose the back, which actually turned out great. The chef (been here since August) was very friendly, shared about the food, and makes East Coast-style pizza and calzones (recently moved from New Jersey). His wife makes the desserts I think he said – my kids loved the brownies, and I loved the cheesecake: light, fluffy, and not overly sweet (and I don’t usually eat cheesecake!).

Very casual, low-key spot with friendly people and truly homemade food.

Gotta give it for the decor, and ambience. Fun to chill place with chess board, pool table and fussball table. Service was 4/5. Can improve wait time. Food was good.

Chloe was awesome! The owner was there as well and gave us an awesome conversation and service. They managed to make us feel like locals. Beautiful town, definitely worth the stop. Recommended! I think if people go here not understanding these are great Americans trying their best to push their small business forward, they may give it a low rating. Don’t be misguided by low star reviews, the little motel nearby, the breakfast place across the street and the charming atmosphere at the saloon are worth it… PS. Don’t forget to feed the donkeys! ❤️

Visiting the area for the super bloom! After a day of hiking we found this place for drinks and dinner. The bartender, Hutch, was very friendly and attentive. Really, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and when we return to Death Valley we will stop in here again.

Thrilled that this place is OPEN again and the new owner is super cool, eager to provide great service and friendly conversation!! While he didn’t have his liquor license just yet (should have it by the end of February or beginning of March 2025), he did have awesome calzones and flatbreads and even some tasty deserts. Of course, the atmosphere here is exactly what you’d expect to find in a living Nevada ghost town like Beatty, as in, a rustic bar, dollar bills plastered on the walls and ceiling and loaded with a ton of charm. This is definitely a place you’ll want to pull in and make a stop if you’re heading into Death Valley or just making your way up and down the 95.

Had a great experience here. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. Food was great, we got the Alien Breads (almost like a pizza).

The place itself is amazing to see (dollar bills with signatures on the roof). We even found an old Audi Cooler from some test drive in death valley.

Greetings from two Austrian Tourists

What a unique bar with music videos of all genres playing while we waited for hot pizza and calzones. Alien pics and dollar bills made for great conversation. This was definitely worth the stop for a bite, along with a few donkey sightings on the road!

This place is great. The bartender was hilarious (he might make fun of you). If you’re from LA be careful, you might get offended

Otherwise, A+ food and atmosphere!
