Don’t pass up on this corner store taqueria! This place is one of the best tasting Mexican food places, around the area! I honestly prefer this place over any spot on Edgebrook! They have the tastiest barbacoa and carne guisados. Flour tortillas are my usual preference but their corn tortillas are so soft and delicious. The corn tortillas taste homemade and they load their tacos generously. My favorite thing to order is a torta with carne guisado! The ladies are very considerate and crisp up the bolio bread so the juicy guisado meat doesn’t sog up my sandwich! Shout out to these people who cook with homemade love! Y’all the best
Update after two years: the food is still bomb! Only the real ones know how authentic and amazing the food, especially the tortillas are! The same sweet ladies are here serving it up. I just feel bad that they have to work with that rude disrespectful clerk!

I mean, it was fine. We got several breakfast tacos. Tortillas were homemade but didn’t taste fresh. The filling was all pre-made. Salsas were very good.

Good eggs but gave me old bacon. Was chewy and hard and was discolored. They were using the old bacon first, the new batch was right next to the old batch

Good breakfast tacos. Red sace pretty hot, green sauce tasty. Tasted like the flour tortillas were made with lard, but this hungry vegetarian ate them anyway.
