SO happy this amazing place pulled up when we were searching for food places along our road trip from FL to TX! Not only was the food top notch, but the owner and friendliness were beyond what you could expect from a small establishment. The atmosphere was classy meets quaint. These Floridians will be back for more Muffuletta, Cubans and that KILLER bread pudding soon!

Me and my girls greatly enjoyed the quick and fresh food! I had the tuna salad and both girls enjoyed the soup of the day which was creamy potato. The outdoor seating was perfect for us and so pretty. Oh, and the bread pudding was delicious!

The food is AMAZINGLY flavorful! Even the spring salad mix. There is this tasty sweet sauce that’s used…and it could make any leafy green the most delectable thing to have in your mouth. Lol
I ordered the cup of shrimp and corn bisque–yum!
The red beans and rice with sausage is SUPER YUMMY! It was all so good…that I was eating like a hog at my table–had remnants of bean juice dripping down my chin.
The interior is cool, too–awesome place. John and his help all seem to be friendly.
GREAT FOOD!!!! I can’t wait to try other foods here.

My must stop place while home from Mobile. Today special pulled pork plate, garlic mash potatoes, green beans, and corn. Also comes with the most amazing spinach salad and I got the king cake bread pudding. My daughter added the potato soup. We added a coke and sweet tea in bottles. We both ate for $39.31 and it was so worth it to get a home cooked meal for lunch. The bread pudding is phenomenal and I dream about while away working. I always highly recommend Word of Mouth.

I love little mom and po restaurants, and this Rd anks at the top. Although their daily specials are the talk of the town, the Louisiana staple Mufaletta was so good! Unpretentious, simple, but just such high quality and so well prepared. Don’t expect fancy, just expect great!
