First time here, and I was blown away by the burger and fries. Twila burger and fresh hand cut fries. I did not expect that kind of quality. The owner and server were extremely friendly, I will definitely go back every chance I get. I got the Irish stew to go and it is excellent.

Local pub, with a good selection of Irish and Scottish whiskey. They have house made Potato soup, Irish stew, and shepherds pie. Highly recommended. They also have a wide selection of burgers and standard pub fair. The staff are pleasant and the owner is nice. Like most eateries during the pandemic, they have had staffing shortages.

This is the slowest place I have ever visited. Even when it’s not busy, you wait forever, every single time. Last time I was there I sat at the bar for 40 minutes before they came to me and asked what I wanted to drink; I would’ve left if I wasn’t driving someone home who was already there.

They claim they limited their hours because “nobody wants to work” (their exact words) but nobody wants to work for THEM. Who wants a job at a place that’s only open 4 hours a day, 2 days a week? You can’t afford to live on that. If they were open like a normal bar, they’d have employees AND more business. They’re usually only open until 8; people aren’t even done working until 5-7. Who wants to go have a drink at a place that’s only open for an hour? You cant sit and have a good time there.

Burgers are awesome. Probably best in Johnstown. Fries are unique. With cheese they remind me of the potato patch fries. Service is much faster than it used to be. Only negatives are that the kitchen isn’t ready to cook anything until 5 (even though they open at 4) and it’s pretty expensive. You’re looking at $60 for 2 burgers, fries, and a couple beers.

Phones may have been out, but so worth going in to place a order. Between the Twila burger(pictured) and the loaded fries, we also had the Guinness, Irishman and Hot Scotsman all of it was delicious and the staff was friendly!!!

First of all, the place was extremely clean and “irish” decor was quaint. Server was very helpful, attentive and pleasant. Food was good. I would consider returning EXCEPT the owner launched into negative comments about our current president. I don’t go to a restaurant to be lectured on your political beliefs. You’ve lost my business.

You will enjoy the best cooked burger with a (celtic-kiltya)- awesome sauce for the french fries! Yep, cold domestic beer and favorite flavor adult beverages.

We were looking for a new place to try. I found Wollys and read that their burgers were very good, which certainly turned out to be true. Very flavourful and juicy. Excellent homemade chips. Service was great. The bar tender at the time, who is the owners daughter, shared some of her loaded fries with us before our food came out. We met the owners and were able to chat with them for a while. Very nice folks. I will definitely be back…

The hamburger was just adequate. They charged me $1.80 for water and then charged me extra for each item on the hamburg-lettuce, onion and tomato. That is a first in my dining out experience. This is a cheapskate operation. Skip this place. Try Jakes at the mall for a great hamburg and the water and hamburg sides are free.
