We visited Woody’s today, as we were looking for another restaurant, and boy were we glad we did. I had one piece of catfish with a baked sweet potato and green beans and the hubby had a bbq pork sandwich with fries. Both means were delicious and very filling. The staff was very attentive, friendly and prompt. We will definitely return

Genuinely surprised and impressed on how southern hospitality and food blended very well here. From the first bite to the last, everything was made to perfection and tasted like it came from grandma’s kitchen, the BBQ burger not only met my expectations but could very easily be one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. Also if you haven’t tried them I recommend the homemade pies, you won’t be disappointed, we will definitely be dining here again soon.

The service was phenomenal, the staff was top notch. But the food was average. Sides were a little cold, but the mains were hot, if not slightly overdone.

Great little restaurant. My wife ordered the seafood and I ordered the country fried stake. The Red Snapper was fresh and also the Shrimp. In addition, the shrimp were large. The fresh homemade snow crabcakes tasted very good. The Blooming Onion was perfect and not greasy. The country fried state was good as well as the mashed potatoes.

Honestly so disappointed. Waited 15 minutes to even get waited on and then another 20 before we walked out due to not having received drinks or anything. There was easily 15+ people in the restaurant and only one waitress. Owner was standing around chatting instead of helping her. salad bar was empty and people waiting on drinks and food. If owner refuses to help the one waitress, he needs to get her help or close down for the night due to lack of employees. Felt bad for the poor girl. Do better.

Everything we have had here is really good. My favorite is the melt in your mouth steak and I Ioaded baked potato with salad bar. Love Mrs Holly. She’s always making sure service is excellent the blooming onion is another one of my favorites. You won’t be disappointed eating here!

It was our first time eating there. We had went to Adkins and bought some furniture and my Mother in law recommended your restaurant. We eat out a good bit and I am a meat cutter by trade. I was very impressed with everything. We all got different items and everything was great. For you to be well off the beaten path I was very pleasantly surprised! Very reasonable prices , good portions, and delicious. Some people are impossible to please, but we know we will be back. If it was closer to us we would be regulars! Some people don’t appreciate anything. I read some of the negative comments and was really surprised at the silly things they complained about. They should be grateful. You can enjoy a nice sit down meal for what it costs to go to McDonald’s or even less. Please keep doing what you are doing and ignore the entitled generation!
