I was greeted at the main door with a smile and a beautiful welcome. I was then directed to the bathroom. The bathroom was dated and brought me back to memories from my childhood that made me smile. This was my first time here so I was a little confused about seating but eventually found where to sit. Bella was our server and she was great. We went for the devour menu. They didnt have any vegetarian options but I was able to find something else on the menu. The blueberry mocktail was AMAZING. The sprouts was a decent sized portion for it to be a side. And lastly, I ordered the blondie and a side of ice cream. My dessert was so cute and tiny. I got there early so was able to find parking. I’m not sure if they had more parking outside of what was marked. We sat close to the speaker. The bass was bassing and it was hard to hear during some of the songs because it was loud. They also offered outdoor seating.

Consistently very good. This is an excellent “go-to” restaurant. Been going here for 3 years now, and the food is always very good, the service is always excellent (shout out to Ryan), and we love the atmosphere.

Meh. Food was subpar and they sent out burnt toast. I was shocked the kitchen would send out burnt toast. The only reason 2 stars is because the waitress was pleasant and apologized for the burnt food. It was also cold on their porch and heaters weren’t working.

We planned to celebrate my birthday (8/9) by dining at Woody’s and called on Wednesday before to make a reservation for six. At first we chose the patio, but called back a couple hours later and asked for a table upstairs in the library (if goal of birthday for retired librarian, you want the ambiance of the library). Each time we stated we needed a table for six at 6:30 pm. and were assured all was arranged. But when we arrived, we were told that the reservation was for four only and that they were unable to seat us upstairs. The server offered to check availability to seat us in the bar/patio. The bar had a table, but is in all sense and purpose a sports bar with several huge televisions, not the vibe we wanted at all. So in the end, we were seated outside “the library” on the patio being blown by fans due to the heat of the evening. The food was good, our server who was very nice and attentive, had been told of the mix-up, apologized to my husband and he told him that he’d comp’d us the appetizer on our bill at the end of our meal. The six of us, including a very special guest, enjoyed our meals and company, but I haven’t been able to shake the disappointment I felt from start to finish of not being able to celebrate upstairs in the library as planned. We said after, all of this could have been avoided if Woody’s provided a text confirmation of reservations. Photo included of Peach Crumble Dessert.

Had a great lunch after church with my family and in-laws ! Our first time ! We were seated quickly and enjoyed the cool shaded patio! Our appetizer came quickly and lasted until our meals were ready! All of the food looked exquisite and picture perfect! We enjoyed our visit and will surely be back !

The chicken sliders were ok. A little dry but, the spicy flavor was fantastic. Sat on the patio and had excellent service.

I’ve been to woody’s a few times & always love the historic vibe & they have a great menu. Tonight my wife & I went to dinner & unfortunately did not have the best service. We sat for 25 minutes before we were greeted, yet watched multiple servers pass by our table during that time. Finally a server approached us, & did not have a great attitude. Throughout the evening, she checked with the tables around us quite frequently, but did not stop by to check on us until it was time for our check & our box. We were both kind & patient, even after waiting for a long time, so it was a bit confusing as to why we watched other tables receive stellar service while we were ignored. I’m usually not one to make harsh assumptions or accusations, but I truly think this was some internalized homophobia. She avoided eye contact & avoid our table as much as possible, & I have never received service like that here before. I wish I had caught the servers name (blonde), but we will probably not be returning.

Woodys is great for a quick lunch. The menu offered a variety of quick bites, perfect for a fast and satisfying meal. The food was good, and the service was prompt, ensuring I didn’t have to wait long. Nice place at the arts district, with outdoor patio where you can relax and enjoy your meal.

I was pretty disappointed in my experience with Woody’s Library Restaurant. I made a reservation for my mom’s birthday. I chose Woody’s because I knew she would love the library atmosphere. When I called for the reservation, they asked if I wanted the dining room or the patio. I told them we’d like to be in the dining room. When we arrived, the dining room was closed and only the very non-descript, loud patio was open. I told them we had a reservation and they didn’t have it written down at the patio station. They didn’t have a table set up for us, they were clearly not ready for us. I definitely would not recommend booking for a group at this restaurant and don’t expect to actually eat in the restaurant itself. I won’t be making any more plans for events here and I wouldn’t recommend others doing so either.

WE have been going here for close 20 years. The staff is always great and welcoming. My daughter loves going here a lot not only because of the staff being incredibly nice to her but of course the food. The soups are always unique and yummy but honestly everything I have ever had has been very good. Love sitting outside especially because it can be temperature controlled quickly. They are always accommodating when we get too cold or hot to adjust fans, heater or windows. The downstairs bar is also a great time to hang out with friends. Small enough to enjoy a cocktail with no huge crowd. Owners have always been nice and make a point to chat and thank you for coming A++++++ all the way!
