Looked up a (not chain) place to get wings on the way down to LA and this place popped up. We got a little of everything: wings, pizza, cheesy tots, and salad. I probably wouldn’t order the Caesar salad again but everything else was so good. And they have fun flavors of soda and other drinks in their fountain. Very chill vibes (especially since it was lunch on a Wednesday). I’m definitely going back next time I’m in town.

First thing you do is you order and pay and get a buzzer, then you go find a table for you and your group. We arrived there around 12pm for 2 people and noticed a line forming, luckily it moved quickly. We ordered 2 of their specialty pizzas, the Carnitas and the Butter Chicken, both personal sizes. It took around 20-25 minutes to get our order, but it arrived hot and fresh. The place is huge and it looks very well decorated; It has the feel of a sports bar/restaurant. The service was excellent and everyone is willing to help you. Overall we would highly recommend this place if you’re SLO and looking for a family friendly pizza place.

Woodstock Pizza in the heart of San Luis Obispo delivers an all-around stellar experience. From the moment you walk in, the laid-back, vibrant atmosphere makes it clear that this spot is perfect for casual hangouts, family dinners, or game nights. The service is impressively friendly and efficient—staff are welcoming and the food came out fast, even with a full house.
Now, the pizza. It’s everything you’d hope for—loaded with fresh toppings, a perfectly chewy crust, and just the right amount of cheese. The veggie pizza I had was bursting with flavor, from juicy tomatoes to black olives and bell peppers, all stacked high. A major highlight was the wings—classic buffalo style with a solid kick, paired with more than enough creamy ranch to satisfy.
Prices are totally reasonable, especially for the portion sizes and quality. Bonus points for the wide selection of drinks and appetizers—those toasted tots and cinnabread caught my eye too.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through SLO, Woodstock’s Pizza is worth the stop. Great food, quick service, fun vibes—what more could you want?

An institution for downtown pizza woodstocks has been here essentially my whole life. Their pizza is really solid, and their unique flavors like the siracha-cha are offerings worth going out of the way for sometimes. The sauce is savory and their topping ratios are on point, although they do have a fairly bready crust (great if you love to dip them like me). The dine in experience is very buzzy and has good drinks at good prices. That all being said, their prices have always been on the high end, and kind of never stopped going without adding value. They have a very limited rewards program, and about a year ago halved the size of their dip cups (50 cent charge) on takeout orders. These are less of an issue dining in, but it’s made me turn to other pizza places like Palo Mesa and My Friend Mike’s when I want a great pizza out of the big chain pizza bubble. Places like that also offer unique toppings, and do it for a little less cash than woodstocks. You won’t go wrong with woodstocks pizza, but for the price there’s better takeout options IMHO. They are open exceptionally late at night which has been very helpful. Pictured: 2 medium pepperoni and a personal siracha-cha with 5 dips – $69 with a 5 dollar tip for pickup.

We ordered at the register which was not a big deal but the gentleman at the register seemed aloof and more interested in other customers. We sat at a table and waited for our order which was around 20 minutes but expected for a pizza. The food was good but not exceptional. The atmosphere was great for watching sports or the like and when it came time to leave I had a little trouble getting waiter attention for a to-go box. Nice place and the food is good enough to recommend if you’re in downtown SLO.

I liked the garlic margarita slices. They were cold tho. The salad wasn’t great. I did like that there were different sauce options.

The best pizza I’ve had in years. Thick doughy crust that was folded over to contain some tomato sauce, heated perfectly throughout to a high temperature enough to keep the cheese stretchy and amazing for at least 20 minutes. I got an extra large and almost ate all of it myself. It was so good. I would eat there everyday if I could.

Woodstocks is probably the best in town. I haven’t tried every pizza place, so couldn’t say for sure, but from what I have, it is. I love the cauliflower crust and get it well done. They almost always make it perfect. I love when a place pays attention to custom orders. The salads are always good and fresh, too. There is a ton of room to dine, but gets very busy during peak hours. Lots to love about this place!

Pizza was delicious, point blank. Great flavor, plenty of heat (literally), and a decent atmosphere. Only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the ridiculous wait AT THE DOOR, simply to grab some slices and beers. Scrapped my first visit to settle for elsewhere because of it and stuck it out the second time for the sake of trying the darn place. Lots of youth, which is entertaining due to their bliss. Overall, decent visit.

Woodstock’s Pizza SLO never misses. The crust is elite, the toppings are generous, and the sauce clearly knows what it’s doing. Great beer, fun chaos, and pizza that disappears way faster than planned. Came for one slice, left extremely happy and very full. 10/10 would make poor self-control decisions here again.
