Woodson’s Local Tap + Kitchen Grand Parkway was established in March 2017 with the idea of Serving our Local Community with our Company Mission in mind, To Deliver Good Food, Good Drinks and Good Times to Everyone… Every time. As a Company we have decided to focus on our Local Community by sourcing as many products from our local area as possible. You will also notice that we love Craft Beer. We have dedicated 20 of our 28 Taps to Local Breweries here in Texas. Our owners have grown up in this area and understand that without building a strong community our business can’t survive, so Thank You for being apart of our small family here at Woodson’s and we look forward to meeting you.

We had the BEST experience at Woodson’s Local Tap + Kitchen thanks to Heidi! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and just genuinely kind. She kept our drinks full, made great recommendations, and checked on us at all the right times without ever being overbearing.
You can tell she truly cares about giving great service. She made our whole table feel welcome and taken care of, and that makes such a difference when you’re out trying to relax and enjoy a meal.
If you go, definitely ask for Heidi — she’s a rockstar server!

Just had a fantastic experience at Woodson’s Local Tap + Kitchen! Heidi was absolutely excellent — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish. She stayed on top of everything without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was just as impressive — fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they take pride in both their service and their kitchen. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Heidi again!

TLDR: come here, it’s awesome.
We had the fish tacos and birria tacos with a mixed fried pickles, shrooms, and jalepenos for app. Fried stuff was lightly battered and stayed crispy through the whole meal. Fish tacos had FAT chunks of fish and were excellent. Birria tacos were pretty good for not being a Mexican restaurant. The street corn sides were super good. We will be back.

The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review… Is because we have eaten here many times without issues. It’s unfortunate.

We celebrated my son’s graduation from Grand Oaks at Woodson’s on May 17, 2025. The Party was amazing! I knew it was going to be great but I cannot express how much better it all turned out! We wanted to provide snacks and beverages for our guest. Adrienne and her team setup the foods we chose in chafing dishes and also created a beautiful charcuterie board that added beautifully with my decorations. The other grad mommas were like, “l didn’t know Woodson’s did this…. I have been working on party planning for the last 3 weeks.” Everyone complemented how nice and delicious everything was. The charcuterie board was absolutely raved over. We even had guest of the restaurant saying how everything looked so good and wished they could join us….. hahahaha. We had our own personal server dedicated to our party only. BECCA was outstanding! She was very attentive and provided top notch service. Even our guest complemented her attentiveness and impressive service. I love throwing parties but this one by far has been the least stressful ….. actually no stress which allowed me to mingle with all of our guest.

And don’t miss out on the giant pretzel—it’s huge, soft, and served with delicious queso to dip, making it a perfect starter or snack. Jenn is a great manager who really makes sure everything runs smoothly, and Nichole is a fabulous server who adds a friendly and attentive touch to the experience. Overall, Woodson’s offers a fun, casual atmosphere with hearty food that hits the spot every time.

Just had dinner here, ordered the blueberry gravel to go, yes it was like eating gravel (I actually broke a tooth). The vanilla ice cream provided the only flavor to the dessert. Cajun pasta was said to be good. Smashburgers were very dry with very little cheese. Maybe a regular burger would be better. Very pricey for the quality of food.

We stopped in since we had some time to spare before our movie, and this place did not disappoint! Spicy lemon pepper and extra hot wings were delicious. To me, the fries were the star of the show, they were incredible. Our bartender was really sweet and attentive as well.
