I ordered corn beef hash and it was the first time in my life I actually had real beef in the hash instead of some processed stuff from a can. The cafe is all around perfect: environment was cozy, prices were reasonable, staff was super friendly, bathroom was clean, and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. I really love this cafe and I’ll definitely be back!

This seemed to be a family run business. When I stopped in, the father was working the kitchen while the son was out waiting tables.
I think this place might have had the most prompt polite service I’ve ever experienced. I felt like company over at a friends house.
They serve all-day breakfast, which is a favorite of mine.
I ordered an omelet. The eggs were a little bland till I got to the filling itself, which was delicious.
There were several options on the menu that I look forward to trying when I return.

So I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs over easy, to start eggs were a little over-cooked and not as runny as they should have been the gravy on the steak was so thick and not cooked enough all you could taste was flour.. When the waitress asked me I said it was gross I was not going to eat the steak and promptly returned it to the kitchen. Was charged full price but hey at least as the waitress stated the owners dog was going to get it .. nice I paid to feed the dog ..pics will be included as you can see for yourself.

Great small town cafe, good food. Great place to grab a bite as your passing through. Pork fritter sandwich is huge! Friendly staff and GREAT PIE! Do NOT stop here without trying their pies. Homemade with amazing flavor. My personal favorite is the Penaut Butter pie.

The food was reasonably good. However, checkout at the cash register is what caused me to stop short and wish I had known about the political commentary on the counter. Regardless of peoples’ politics and beliefs, having these political statements out in public for customers to see is not in good taste. If I had known at the start I would not have eaten here. People can vote how they want, but there should be respect.

Came to this restaurant for the first time with my best friend. I tried a Reuben with sweet potato fries and a slice of French silk pie. My friend ordered a burger with waffle fries and the marshmellow cheesecake. Everything was wonderful. The staff was super friendly. I would love to come back next time I’m in Remer.
