This is probably my favorite outdoor dining experience! The ambiance and beauty is wonderful, right next to the river. The covered patio is expansive and has a lot of rustic Western charm. There is an area set up for live bands on the patio too. Our server, Lauren, was very friendly and personable. The meal was delicious and reasonably priced. If I get back to Fort Worth, the Woodshed is at the top of my list to dine at!

We love the open air outdoor seating patio by the Trinity trails, overlooking the river. It is also dog friendly. If you are walking on the trail and want to stop with your dog that is the perfect place. We ordered the beef and pork ribs, the 1/4 lamb brisket and baked potato. Food was good and didn’t take long but it felt like they forgot about us. It took a while for any staff to come around and for us to get the check. Lots of bugs outside …

We went there on a Sunday, and it was closing in on 95 degrees. The wind was very helpful and kept it cool.
Great view of the river, and they had a live band, which was nice.
The food was excellent, and we enjoyed the drinks, appetizers, and main meal. The half rack of ribs with a loaded potato was perfect.
The service was decent, the waitress was nice but very busy and the server didn’t say a word and quickly left the table.
Overall, I would recommend this place for any time of the day or week. Its atmosphere is enough to win someone over and the food is very good. The drinks are a little pricey but were made very well too.

I am in love with this place. I’ve gone in the past for dinner and enjoyed sitting outside by the river. The food is always amazing.
Today I went for brunch and I was blown away. Three reasons. First, everything was delicious. The chicken & waffles were the best I’ve ever had. The strawberry shortcake pancakes were life-altering. Even the galette of the day (kind of like a fried bread fruity thing) was a revelation. Second, the prices were akin to a 1995 diner. $10 for chicken and waffles?? Inflation hasnt hit this place yet. Third, there are 12 entrees on the menu. I hate when restaurants have 100+ options, as that means that everything is mediocre at best. At Woodshed, everything is prime quality.
I will for sure be coming back here for breakfast. You should too.

Lovely and quaint Smokehouse on one of the forks of the trinity River. Reminded me of being in Austin vs Fort Worth!
To seat, you need at least 1/2 of your party there so we had a drink at the bar then got seated quickly after.
Food was delicious and our server, Emily was top notch and checked on us multiple times. I had the burger sandwich, but was thinking it was just brisket in a burger form but came with both and was great, as well as the chips was a generous portion.
Definitely stop on by as this place filled up quickly and even had a singer early into the evening.
$10 for valet parking if don’t want to park up stream!!

Came here with a bachelorette party for brunch. We initially we’re very impressed, seated quickly and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, TWO HOURS LATER, we still had not received our food. Our waitress, who was clearly busy and stressed was not very communicable about what the problem was. She told us the kitchen was “backed up”. We ended up having to walk out due to an appointment we had scheduled later that day. Very disappointing experience, especially since the food looked very good.
If you’re considering going here on a Saturday morning, just don’t unless you have all day to wait around on your food.

I enjoyed a solid meal at Woodshed Smokehouse! I ordered a 1/4 lb brisket, 1 sausage link, and a loaded baked potato. We also shared brussel sprouts and a fish dip. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. My only critique was the amount of flies, it would have been nice if the staff provided a small far for the table to help mitigate the flies swarming our food while we ate. The server was great and I would definitely return.

First time visiting ! It was busy but not too overly crowded. Delicious cocktails and reasonably priced. Ordered the burger with brisket and sausage . Was very difficult to find the brisket and sausage. Burger its self was cooked perfectly and delicious ! Being right next to the river was amazing
