Id have to say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve had some good pizza in NYC and Philly. It’s the kind of flavor that makes you shake your head and become speechless for a bit. Then you just say wow. The people that run it are friendly and always make me feel welcomed. It’s also next to some great beer (Elkton Brewery) which is a great combo together. Highly recommend the Hot Soppressata, Pimped out Pepperoni and the butter chicken special when they have it. Need to try them all!

Do whatever you need to do to experience this pizza. We left Shenandoah Nat Park and I’m sooo sad that this is so far from me. This needs to be part of everyone’s itinerary, everyone’s go-to. The sourdough has the perfect tang, the crust is crispy and still soft. The flavors are unreal. The pimped out pepperoni will be a pizza I’ll be dreaming about for years because nothing else comes close. The pepperoni with the pesto? And ricotta dollops are like whipped cream!? Balanced with the hot honey. And the price? $16. Don’t get me started on the health benefits of sourdough. This pizza is next level!! GO get yourself one!!

It’s absolutely amazing. Such a find in the area. When you visit Shenandoah, be sure to stop here. I’ve lived in Chicago, Orlando, and now Charlotte. It’s some of the best pizzas I’ve tried.

We came all the way from Philly to hike AAAAND try this DELICIOUS pizza. It did not disappoint at all!! They use super fresh ingredients and you can tell by the incredible taste and texture of this pizza. Woodfire oven and sourdough. We had an amazing time at this brewery as well!

Seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had. I have family out of state that requests it every time they visit! Quality local ingredients, super consistent and friendly service every time. 10/10 recommend! Pimped Out Pepperoni will forever be my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any!

I’ve had alot of good pizza in my life and this might be one of the best. It’s a pizza from VA that rivals others from NJ, NY, Philadelphia. Who would have thought? It’s also located at one of the best breweries (Elkton Brewing) I’ve ever been too as well. This alliance is a gem for sure.

This is the kind of review I like to write: food should please the senses and that’s exactly what you get at Woodfiredco. The pizza is a work of art from the smell of the smoke, to the texture and feel as you chew a bite, to the incredible combination of flavors imparted by the oak fired brick oven on the sourdough crust, to the gorgeous contrast of reds and whites and greens. Truly an experience. I love combining it with the house wine at the brewery. Out of this world.
