Best breakfast spot in Beaver County! The cheese omelette is my favorite item on the menu. So fluffy! I recently tried the new bananas foster French toast and it is a great special. Mel and Brittany are so warm, friendly and simply provide excellent service. We are happy to support a small business that takes so much pride in what they do and cares so much about who they serve. It is just a happy place to be. You feel appreciated as a patron and it is obvious that the staff is one big family. The place is always clean and the decor and little details give it so much charm. Keep doing what you do, we love you guys!

Was my first time eating here. My son found it and said they had great reviews. I had the chicken breakfast skillet (can’t remember the exact name on the menu). It was very good. Looking forward to trying the brisket skillet next time. The service was very good as well. Will definitely be back!

Put The Wooden Spoon on your list of places to eat. Excellent food served fast. The service is outstanding. I can’t recommend The Wooden Spoon any higher. Just go…and be hungry. The portions are huge.

Walked in, ordered, and had my food in front of me in less than 5 minutes. Felt at home an hour away from my house. Ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits and was pleasantly surprised. Bought the last 3 homemade cinnamon rolls to go for tomorrow’s breakfast. Excited for tomorrow.

I can see how parking may be an issue but the breakfast was FANTASTIC- flavorful and cooked to perfection. Well done!
Server was very polite and coffee refills didn’t stop coming. They use local Hallowed Grounds coffee too, which is the best. Great value, would definitely go again. I recommend the #5 – eggs and chicken on a biscuit, covered in gravy! Loaded home fries.

The Best Pancakes Ever!!!
From the moment I walked in with my wife and daughter, every single person had a smile on their face and continued to give us friendly service throughout.
Service:
One of the things that stood out was that all of the pressure of service wasn’t on any one person. While we had a main server, they all worked together to bring dishes, stop to see how things were going and to make sure drinks were topped off. They all greeted us with a smile and good cheer! Outstanding approach!
Food:
From the Beneighs to the Bacon to the flapjacks, the food was great! Fresh and hot. The pancakes were not “out of a box.” It was clear that they were homemade with the vanilla overtones. Obviously, good ingredients used.
Atmosphere:
Cozy and clean. As we dined, we noticed an eclectic and interesting choice of music playing in the background. On the way out, as we waited for the Mrs, we noticed an old school, working jukebox that was dialing up the tunes. As we noticed, they said, “play whatever you want!” They have it set to “free.”
Bottom Line:
Just a short drive from everywhere in Beaver County, stop into The Wooden Spoon for what is, in our opinion, the best breakfast in Beaver County!

Cute little homestyle diner tucked in beside Jimmy K’s in New Brighton. Retro jukebox, cozy seating, baked goods, the works. Awesome food and friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
