If your are down on Riverfront around lunch you should stop by. The sandwiches are all delicious and they have a great option for take home meals for an easy dinner after work. If your already in for something savory might as well snag a sweet which they have plenty of. Love having such an amazing bakery so close that has similar values as me.

I always enjoy stopping in to grab gluten-free treats, and their soups and take-home meals are so good. It makes eating well easy, even on busy days when I don’t have time to cook. When our original caterer fell through a week before our big day, Nicole stepped in without hesitation and completely saved the day. She was calm, reassuring, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect for us. Within hours, she had a new plan in place and guided us through the entire process with grace and confidence.
The food was outstanding, our guests are still raving about it! Everything was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with love. The Wooden Spoon created a menu that reflected our tastes perfectly and handled every detail seamlessly on the day of the wedding.
The staff was just as amazing warm, organized, and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could simply enjoy the moment.

My favorite is to pick up something from the front fridge – the one filled with Chef B’s amazing creations. She has a way with combining so many unique flavors into a delicious dish. With the cold weather, I chose Wild Rice Soup and paired it with the delicious Cheesy Garlic Finger Rolls – lunch was better than amazing! LOVE the food and the staff!!

This experience was a couple of years ago, and I’ll forever be a loyal customer because of it! I stopped into The Wooden Spoon needing something quick, but I was on a very strict doctor-ordered diet and feeling completely overwhelmed (and honestly in tears). The staff and owner didn’t bat an eye at my “crazy” order… they were unbelievably kind, patient, and made me feel welcomed instead of like an inconvenience.
They went out of their way to accommodate my food restrictions, and the sandwich was delicious. What could have been a stressful moment turned into such a comforting, memorable experience. Amazing food, amazing people, and truly above-and-beyond service!

I had my daughter’s bridal shower in the Creamery room. It was the PERFECT venue! The room could accommodate up to 49 people but we only had 24 which was just the right size. There was plenty of space for our mimosa bar, a gift table and a table for our games, party favors and pictures and there was plenty of seating for everyone. We had a brunch and had the food catered through Wooden Spoon and was delicious. We had egg, cheese and bacon pastries, cheesy hashbrowns, fruit and of course delicious cupcakes. They were even able to accommodate a special diet. Nicole was amazing to work with and was patient with all my questions and even some last minute changes. The cost was VERY reasonable! Nicole’s sister/co-owner (I’m sorry I forgot her name) was very helpful the day of the shower and made sure that we had everything we needed. They also had a back entrance which had a ramp which was so nice for a couple elderly guests we had. I was so stressed when trying to find a venue for the shower and a friend who had recently gotten married made the suggestion to look into the Wooden Spoon. I’m so happy she did! I highly suggest The Wooden Spoon/Creamery Room for any type of get together you may have!

I love it here. Their gluten free goodies are something I can actually eat! They are absolutely mouth watering, recommend 10/10!! (They have a load of non gluten items, my husband loves this bakery)

Pies-This poor rating is for their pies only. For Thanksgiving we ‘custom-ordered’ a pumpkin & pecan pie: cost:$45.
Sadly:Both pies went in the garbage.
1. The Pumpkin pie had a raw base crust & no flavor. When we served it, 3 guests tried to eat it but stopped, mostly due to the raw dough.
2. The Pecan pie had stale pecans on top that were burnt, & the filling was so liquid we had to use an ice cream scoop to scrape 3 servings out of it. The burnt pecans & liquid goo made it inedible for those who tried to eat it.
Our (local) guests & ourselves decided we will never order pie from Wooden Spoon again.
PS: they are not fresh-made as we were led to believe upon ordering; in fact: the sell by date was just 2 days past when we picked them up & realized they had come straight from their refrigerated pie display.
Last: we have had good cupcakes, bread & soups from here this year; but recommend others not to waste $$ on their high-priced & poor quality pies!
