This bar is a diamond in the rough. Has a great small town feel and the patrons were very friendly, even supporting our karaoke efforts with applause bless them. Staff was friendly and the DJ played an extra hour. We had an awesome experience stopping in and being from our of town. Will definitely go back if in the area again!

Love the down home atmosphere. Not a lot of these places left, where you can go and have a couple of beers and not worry about someone starting a fight. The food is also great and the portions are more than what you pay for!!!. I’d give it 10 stars if it would let me.

If words could describe my love for this place… boy oh boy. I genuinely spend 3 out of 7 days a week here and wish I could spend the other 4 (and then some). They treat you like the king that you are with $3 pitchers on Tuesday and cheap shots on Thursday. The music is killer. The food is scrumptious. I nut just hearing the word shoe, at this point. Wait till you see the girls!! On Friday night, make sure to make a reservation. It gets wild around 8:30pm. Seriously, if you have not been here, make it your next stop. Yourself, and your future self, will forever be thankful.

The owner works there often and is real cool guy. Easy to talk to,and a decent pool player. Only bummer no liquor. Also it’s a good crowd. Don’t think I’ve seen any bar brawls. But quite few stories I’ve got from there will crack you up. Oh and best part he doesn’t do last call early. Great for second shifters.

“The Shoe” is the best hometown bar in St. Joseph county. The staff is friendly. The food is amazing. One of the best burgers I have ever had in my life!
