As someone born and raised in thw Chicagoland area, I will say they make a dang good pizza. We love this local pizza joint and the people there are great. The new crazy beer station is also fantastic. The hot honey pepperoni pizza is exquisite.

We were traveling to Bremen and wanted to stop for Dinner – I was hungry for pizza. We stopped around 4:30 at the Wooden Peel which was very welcoming and the decor gave it a hometown feel with a bar area as well. The phone seemed to be ringing off the hook and some were placing orders for a future date. Our service was excellent and the pizza was homemade and delicious!! Would definitely stop again when in Bremen!! Good idea to call ahead as they are very busy.

While atmosphere and employees were great, the pizza, cost, and wait were not. Ordered at 5:30pm was told to pick up at 8pm, and ended up getting the food at 9pm. The bottom of one pizza was burnt and difficult to chew through.
They need more ovens, or a better process. However, a man did arrive while we were waiting for food ordered and picked up his two pizzas all within the hour we waited.

It was raining all day at our camper so we decided to venture out for pizza and found this gem. It was really good. Perfect amount of crunchiness and sausage and mushrooms were awesome. Also offered wine and sangria which was awesome too. Definitely will be back! Delicious!

Food was good but, both the pizza and the cinnamon thingy were burnt on the bottom. It wasn’t real bad, but made them both taste bad. Service was very good…they were busy and kept up a very fast pace. Beer was cold and the ice mugs had ice in the draft beer…tasted great.

The pizza is great but their company processes are poor. They prioritize online/phone orders so if you want to dine-in the place will be empty, but the wait will be hours. If you want to enjoy dine-in with your family you’ll need to call immediately, then get a wait time, then show up to their restaurant.
