Met a friend here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon at her suggestion. Walked in and a table was available immediately. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Placed our order and food came out quickly. I had Walters BBQ Burger and I have to say that it was delicious! It was messy, but I just couldn’t put it down it was so good! The burger came with fries, they were good but could have been hotter, they were only warm. My wife and our friend each had a cheese burger that they said was very good. I enjoyed our meal and I can recommend Double Sky Diner!

Great hidden gem. This place is a must try. Daily specials and lot of the food is homemade. I recommend the all you can eat catfish on Tuesdays. We’ve been here a lot as a family, almost everything is great I don’t recommend the chop steak patty.

Overall everything is good. Sitting in the restaurant as i write this. The food was nice, my wife and i had the catfish basket and wings for lunch and our daughter had a grilled cheese. There are only two issues I have.
1. The price of the wings is outrageous. We decided to try them hoping there was more to them and they were doing their “wacky wings Wednesday” all this meant was that fries were included. But at $13 for 7 wings…. not worth it. They need to adjust this price to around $9 for the 7 wings. Also… the second option was 11 wings for $22. That increases the price per wing and makes it a worse deal.
2. The sweet tea didn’t taste good or like tea. It was slightly flavored, slightly sweet water.
If they adjust these two things I might be back. But if you don’t plan on getting wings or tea you should be fine.

This was our first time to eat here. The food was absolutely delicious. James had the chicken fried steak with coleslaw and macaroni & cheese. I had the fried catfish with a baked potato. The food is very fresh and homemade.
Service was excellent Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere has a small town vibe. The Diner appears to have its regular customers as well as newcomers. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again.

My goodness! I just had a tasty tag team of mouth morsels from DoubleSky Diner! Their pork chop plate packs a punch guaranteed to give your belt a days work. I had their brilliant broccoli and stellar sweet potato fries as sides. The whole deal went down easy with some delicious sweet tea.
