Serving food quality that is far beyond your average pub. Our full service bar serves famous mouth watering Slow Smoked Prime Rib. We have been hand-crafting smoked german sausages since 1999. We offer these sausages in a variety of our Wooden Nickel signature dishes like our spicy jambalaya. Don’t forget to try our housemade breads as well! Patronized several times. This is the 1st time I felt I was not as important (sitting waiting in a booth to order a meal at 4:15-thought we’d beat the dinner rush) as the local bar crowd who were waited on continuously as they came in before we were acknowledged. Food was ok, but was never checked on and my “meat” was all fat and unedited. Server gave us our ticket after removing our plates and left “checkout” device on table and didn’t return. Very disappointing experience.

This was our first time here. Had dinner on a Tuesday evening about 8:30 pm. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. We self seated. Plenty of parking. Their menu hooked me into trying them, as there’s something for everyone on it. We had the southern fried chicken dinner and the southern fried oyster dinner. (I love southern fried anything) Both dinners really good! I’m looking forward to a trip back to try different dishes. Large portions, as we both had to take some home. I loved that they also offered tater tots.

On a road trip wanted to take a friend ( Foodie) to this place, was disappointed the Sublimity location was closed for staff training. * So an amazing thing happened, Jack went to the back door, and explained we had driven a long way & he is diabetic. The service was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful with all our questions. The food was delicious. Perfect spot for a meal, or to enjoy drinks with friends. The setting was dark and the music was just loud enough to enjoy without shouting over it. A local favorite and worth a visit.

Went for my birthday dinner. So great. The place was so busy and all the waitresses stayed upbeat and checked on us with each swoop around the room. Extra kudos for the ones who found my husband’s teeth he left in a napkin. We turned around on our way home,they were found and put away in a container for him. You all went over and beyond for us!

Looks like a country dive bar, inside and out. Don’t be fooled by the looks! The menu is amazing. My wife had the prawns, stuffed with crab and artichoke and wrapped in bacon. Yum! I had the house cured corned beef in a killer ruben. Awesome!

Food was good but very greasy. Servers are very poorly trained. They ignore you and forget your requests. They seem to always be in a hurry to bring you the bill and get you out the door. Horrible service. Spend most of your time waiting for a server to come by and take your next drink or food order. Terrible
