If you like to smoke it is 5 star if you don’t it is zero stars. Smoking is allowed inside. Has a few tvs over the bar so not a bad place to catch a game.

Terrible service for how expensive it is, kinda wish I never came in. I never drink, nd came in after work from a hard day. Bartender was rude and seemed intoxicated. As somebody who never goes in there thought I’d give it another try. I regret wasting my money there. Wanted to order food but didn’t even give me an opportunity to order it or ask about food. Really felt like since I was “new” or unknown there I didn’t get good service like other patrons.

Great old school bar. Ive been goin here for almost 20 years. And of all the bars its my favorite. Always has great bartenders, excellent pool tables and most importantly cold beer. Owner Lyle McGowan has even ordered alcohol that he dont normally carry to satisfy customers. Thanks Lyle

This is not your average place, if you enjoy watching sports and drinking and shooting some pool then this is the place. It has a older feel to it. It is one of the few bars left standing in macon. Great drinks and service. It is smoker friendly. Usually they will have live entertainment from time to time. I always enjoy my time at The Wooden Nickel, “The home of One More”
