Woodies Scramble was delicious. Coffee and Cinnamon Roll was Good+.
Have to mention that our first server had a striking resemblance to Woody Harilson . He was pleasant and didn’t mind our inquiries/ comments. Prices were in line .
Food came out fast .

First time visitor to a long time staple in Lincoln. We’ve since went a couple more times. Every visit we try something different.

Food is good, not as much flavor as we’d like, not a big issue. Plentiful portions. Priced competitive.

Service varies depending on staffing. Always busy when we’ve visited.

Recommend stopping in when in Lincoln or passing through.

Such an adorable mom and pop restaurant. Not much seating but we had no wait when we got there. The waitress were absolutely the sweetest. The servings were fresh and large. Pricing was was great too! Can’t wait to go back.

Great local restaurant to stop and enjoy a great meal. The staff is friendly and very welcoming made us feel right at home. Will definitely be returning every time I’m in the area.

Found this terrific place on Google Maps after three days visiting Nebraska from NYC. I had the chicken-fried steak and eggs and it was great. Coffee was great too. But best of all was our server, Lynette. She was professional and knowledgeable, personable and welcoming, and easily kept up with the inane banter of two “middle-aged” men.

I’m with a Veteran PTSD group from Vietnam.
We choose a different eatery every Tuesday before our meeting at the VA.
Woodees is a favorite, slightly off the beaten path, plenty of parking and excellent omelettes and other delicious items that warm a GI’s heart. Coffee is excellent, and our waitress keeps an eye out, knowing when refills are due. Most of the guys get omelettes, I’m a little more basic, and my eggs over easy, are perfect with the Rye toast.

Stopped in for breakfast and what a great find. Cute little diner. Very pleased with the food. The service on the other hand was awful. Waited 20 minutes to order as the waitress was visiting with other tables. Waited for a box and check while she flossed her teeth right behind the counter in front of people eating.
Would definitely go back for the food.

Honestly, this may be one of Lincoln’s best kept secrets. I could tell that many of the patrons were local regulars…and the waitresses made us feel like we were too!
Hours are breakfast and lunch, so check before you go. I can’t wait to go back for a burger.

Today, we both ordered the chicken fried steak. I had my eggs sunny side up and they were perfect. They offered home fries or hash browns and a selection of toasts. The CFS tasted homemade. Every bite was hot and crunchy.
Woodees is a smaller gem, but we walked in and seated ourselves. Service was fast, friendly, and affordable. I loved this place so much that I bought a shirt and tipped 50%.

I had them at Corned beef to my omelets since I don’t eat pork. Best omelets of my life! Chicken fried steak was also amazing! Already planning next trip to Lincoln to eat here!

Love the country sausage patties. Limited seating, I suggest you go before 10 am on Saturdays. Wonderful low-key breakfast place. Casual and home-y but still clean and tidy.
