Woodburn Rocks Diner built the foundation and set the trajectory we are on today. The restaurant was created as an answer to a desperate plea, the town of Woodburn was suffering from a drought of influential barbecue and home artisan’s expertly crafted collection of recipes and spices. Thusly, Woodburn Rocks BBQ was born and began anew with classic Smoked and BBQ favorites with generations of unique flavors. Our barbeque and smoking techniques are inspired by Santa Maria-style BBQ. We strive for traditional tastes and aromas of grilling over coals of coastal live oak, often referred to as Red Oak wood. Our passion is Pulled Pork, although our roots are centered around the Tri-Tip, Brisket, Chicken, and other classic favorites.

Amazing bbq ribs and chili, they recently won an award for their chili, I had some on top of a burger and all the food tasted wonderful. I heard they were also making tri tip so next time I go I’ll have to try that. Super friendly staff working the counter, and funny too. Worth the drive from Salem!
