Held a party in their W room – the bartender Micheal FANTASTIC! Food was delicious. The downside was the condition of the W room—it was completely dirty, with sticky menus and tables, and the beautiful mirror appeared untouched for months. Considering the $250 rental fee and the venue’s overall appeal, cleanliness should be a given. Unfortunately, we had to request the menus be cleaned and even brought our own cleaning supplies, though the mirror remained uncleaned. I have shared feedback with staff in hopes of correcting issue.

If you plan to hold an event their – please keep this in mind and make sure the place is cleaned up for your guests!

I was here for a work event and the atmosphere was extraordinary. Well heated and great seating. The cocktails were appreciated by all attendees. The Lemon drop that I had was fantastic. Appetizers were beautifully displayed and tasted magnificent. The flatbread pizzas were worth the hype for sure. Definitely recommend for others seeking a work event happy hour location.

Amazing drinks, delicious food, great service. Highly recommend! Fried pickles are the best I’ve had and the martini menu is huge. We enjoyed th creamsicle and espresso martinis. Wood fired pizza was great. We will return!

Nice restaurant with big martini list and wines by the glass. There is a nice outdoor area, a indoor bar, a new indoor space behind the bar with about 7 tables and an event area used for overflow. The pizza tasted good and had good flavor combinations…but the dough was a bit thick and undercooked/soggy. Normally expect a pit crisper crust on woodfire pizzas. Service was nice. Would definitely go back and if crust is a bit more crispy next time I would increase to five stars.

This was our first time at Wood Room . It was absolutely perfect.
The service was exactly what it should be . Extremely sweet, smart and attentive employees. They seem to enjoy their work as well . The food was so yummy and the portions were generous . Most importantly, the cocktails were amazing. Perfectly balanced and delicious. Great selection of savory and sweet options . My friends and I had a blast at this place . A Willoughby Hills gem .

Went here for apps and drinks and couldn’t recommend this place more! The service was amazing, drinks were great and reasonably priced, and the food was amazing! I got a Manhattan and an espresso martini and they were both delicious! We sat at the bar but the patio looked like it was a very good vibe. Would 100% recommend.

Went here last night. Very disappointed. The $20 “cheese board” described as having gourmet cheeses, crostinis, fresh fruit, and candied nuts was a big pile of thick salami, cubed cheddar out of the bag, cheap crackers, and no nuts in sight. My woman is a vegetarian. Would not have ordered if the menu actually mentioned the meat. Also, the tall bar tender smelled like he hadn’t showered in a week and other customers noticed it as well. Wont be coming here again.

I will start off by saying that my husband and I used to love to come to this place at least once or twice a year to sit out on the beautiful patio and enjoy their fine drinks and food. Yesterday we went there and had to wait for a table on the patio, which is fine, as I understand, they do not take reservations. However, we were told to go inside and have a drink while we wait for a table to open on the patio. We confirmed that if a table is free or become free, would they let us know? Her answer was no because it is first come first served. This makes no logical sense to me – you tell me to go inside and enjoy a drink while I’m waiting for my table, yet you refuse to put my name at least on a waiting list or some way of knowing that we would be next in line. Absolutely no logic in this explanation.

We were so excited to come here, so we thought it was worth waiting for a table to open up. The server lady/bartender came to the front porch where we were waiting and told us a high top table was finally available and walked us over to the actual table to seat us. We were delighted. About three minutes later a lady patron comes up to us and makes a bit of a scene saying that “you took my table while I was in the restaurant and at the bathroom and I just wanted you to know that.” Both my husband and I both apologized several times and said would you like this table and she just said no and walked inside. Meanwhile, the table around us invites her to sit with them because they felt so bad, as if my husband and I were some bruts that took her table. We felt as if we beat a dog or something by the looks we were getting. At this point, I’m not going to spend my hard earned money at a place like this that hires people who can’t think logically and because of the lack of thinking outside the box, a very uncomfortable situation ensued that could have been avoided by normal restaurant etiquette. My husband then went in to find the lady that was sitting there and told her go have her table back that we were not staying – the server that sat us there Just sat there and didn’t say anything. She could have avoided this whole situation by telling the lady that she is the one that told us that it was free but instead, she just stood there. As an employee and “manager “of this business, that is deplorable behavior. I will never again visit this establishment. I’m sure the owner won’t care, as this is a busy place and to lose a little business will mean nothing to them. What I hope will come of this is that they start to think logically and above the age of 15 and train their staff the same.
