A solid spot for casual BBQ and classic American dishes. The space is big and comfortable, with plenty of booths and tables that work well for larger groups. We come here probably twice a year with family and friends, and the kids menu is always a hit. The highlight is definitely the service, since everyone is consistently warm and eager to help. The food is decent, though it could use a little more attention to really shine. Still, it’s an easy, reliable option with a great atmosphere.

Sat outside on the patio. Heaters are great. Half salad with tritip was good small dinner size. Lettuce and veggies were fresh (definitely not from a bag.) Waitress was great with allergen issues. Bread is egg free. Excellent blue cheese stuffed olives for martinis.

This place is awesome! My husband and I met at another Wood Ranch in Irvine nearly 8 years ago. So that’s a plus after many years, and even though the menu hasn’t changed we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Skin potatoes had a few bbq chicken pieces and raw cut onions- not a fan of that. Burger w grilled onions, tomato and lettuce was yummy. Fries were standard. Perfectly cooked medium rare and a nice bun. My husband ordered the brisket (slowly cooked) with steamed broccoli (a bit over cooked) and coleslaw (non-mayo based) super good and freshly made. Service was awesome by Alex. Enjoyed the blackberry pom martini. Recommend going here especially if you don’t want to wait an hour at Hanna’s lol Great date night place!

I placed an order and told them the time I would want the food ready by because I was going to pick it up later than 45minutes. Well when I pick it up the fries are cold so I sent them back. I ordered cake and ice cream and the ice cream was melted. The manager said she would take care of the ice cream and the fries. Well she did and I thought all was well but the mashed potatoes I discovered were dry when I ate them. She barely gave me a whole scoop of ice cream, leaving enough for only half of the cake. Also the cake was not cooked well enough on the inside. I spent so much money on my food I am disappointed with their service and the overall quality of the food. The baby back ribs barely had any meat on the bone. It was such a disappointment… I tried their “French toast” a day before today (last week) that was also just horrible. I regret the money I spent here and I do not recommend.

I’ve always thought this was a good local restaurant, but tonight made me a total loyal customer. I usually order the family meal for 4 for take-out for which is a killer deal (usually get 6-8 meals out of it) and a great way to feed your family throughout the week with a meal that tastes great. But tonight we ordered individual dinners for takeout. There was a small mixup in the order, so I called to let them know. The customer service was way better than I could have expected and even better than I have received at 5-star restaurants in the past. They resolved it so quickly & creatively, I was so impressed. I placed the order at 8/8 at around 7pm. I was frustrated at the beginning of the call, so I didn’t catch the name which is a bummer because I would have loved to mention them by name. But, I really want to thank you for the great customer service. I will be recommending YOU to anyone looking for a restaurant with great service. THANK YOU!

Best BBQ in the Area. Always consistent, always good. Two meats and two sides is our go to. Trip-tip & pulled pork are my favorite. The peanut coleslaw is amazing!
