Started with the bang bang shrimp appetizer. Interesting mix of flavors with sweet chili underneath the shrimp. Pickled onions smothered the top with the bang bang sauce. Shrimp coated with a crispy breading. Not a fan of the pickled onions but it was easy to scrape off. Had the Caesar salad with white anchovies and topped with additional lobster meat. The dressing was oily and way too much panko crumb coating the lettuce. Plentiful lobster made up for the actual salad fixings. Had the Maine single serving lazy lobster. Great the shell removed, meat was tender. The vegetable sides were green beans and roasted potatoes. Both excellent. Tried the apple crumble with ice cream. Apples not quite cooked all the way, more crunchy but with ice cream made it ok. The flourless chocolate torte with cherries was disappointing. The torte was for lack of a better term hard to get a fork through. Waiter was very attentive but not hovering. Not very busy for a Friday night when we arrived at 5 pm

Service is friendly and prompt. We were seated quickly probably because it’s 3pm off-peak. We’re here just for a taste of New England Clam Chowder and it was good. A little pricey for such a small bowl though. The crab cakes were okay; not the best we’ve tasted. All the staff were friendly though.

Came here for a small snack while strolling the old port streets. We ordered New England clam chowder and crab cake. The chowder is not bad, but crab cake is expensive and not too impressive. We were there on a weekday afternoon around 3pm, it was not crowded and there was only 1 server, so there was some wait time for ordering food.

Fantastic!! I’m from out of town and I came here on a recommendation of the nearby hotel. I’m super impressed. I had oysters, tuna tartare, deviled eggs and lobster cocktail. All were amazing! The tuna tartar had a nice spicy kick to it! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Sat at the bar and had some great cocktails! Highly recommend this establishment. Cool salt water tank inside too.

One of us was looking for a local restaurant for fresh fish and a good meal. This was it! It wasn’t just yummy and filling, it was fresh. That makes all the difference, and it should. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to those near and far. The fish rank kept us occupied and entertained during our time in the main dining room. If you hit the timing just right, your experience can that much more sweeter. While some prefer a more livelier scene with the staff working their tails off, we tend to lean towards a relaxed/ chill/ less stressful/ more 1:1 talks with the staff members type of restaurant. Overall a great local restaurant.

Originally had 6:00 reservations NYE. Running a little late… was not a problem for them to move the time for later, despite it being fairly busy when we arrived. The Christmas decorations were cute but not over the top. Our waitress was nice and the food was VERY good. We were able to test the wine first, and then served from the bottle. The fried calamari was perfect with the sauce. Baked Haddock was buttery and tasteful, maybe the best green beans I’ve ever had. The prices reflect as such but the food and service was very well worth it. Our dinner was relaxing and the whole experience was a great pre-game for the rest of the night. The kids at the table next to us were very well behaved. Thank you!

We started with clam chowder and crab cakes. Both were very good, the chowder was a little more watery than i like, but tasty. We all got the Twin Lazy Lobsters, they are market price which at the moment is $75 per plate. You get a good bit of lobster which is cooked perfectly and comes with plenty of butter. The potatoes were great and the green beans were excellent, they put some seasoning magic on those. We liked the atmosphere and our waiter was very nice and helpful. We just wish the lobster was slightly more affordable, but if you’re already spending money, spend a little more and stop by.

I walked in on a cold Tuesday night & was a bit worried, after the place had been highly recommend, because there were only two people in the restaurant. But, I was not disappointed! The clamp chowder and lobster scampi were both great! After dinner the bartender talked me into trying a thing Mint Martini, which is not my thing at all since I’m a bourbon guy, and the drink was amazing! I will definitely return here when I’m back in the area! If you don’t stop here to eat, it’s your loss.
