Came in during happy hour, and it turned out to be a great choice. The atmosphere is relaxed and very classic American BBQ — lively but still comfortable enough to enjoy a proper meal.

We ordered the ribeye and the BBQ tri-tip, plus the happy hour shredded onion for $6, which is honestly a steal. The ribeye was nicely seared with a juicy interior, well-seasoned and full of beef flavor. The tri-tip had a good smoky taste, tender enough without being mushy, and the BBQ sauce was balanced — slightly sweet but not overpowering. Sides like the grilled corn and broccoli were fresh, and the shredded onion was crispy, light, and perfect for sharing.

Service was excellent. Our server Bri was friendly, attentive, and efficient, checking in at the right times without being intrusive. Overall, solid food, great happy hour value, and service that really stood out. Would definitely come back.

My family came here for a bon voyage party to celebrate my nephew enlisting in the navy. It was my 1st time here and what a positive experience overall. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, the price was reasonable, and our waiter was pleasant and attentive. The rustic ambiance of the restaurant gave off a warm and cozy vibe. I would recommend the sea bass, the burgers, the asian salad, the fried cauliflower appetizer and the butter bread dessert. They were all exceptional! We had a great time! I would highly recommend and definitely coming back!

Went with my hubby to this place since it smelled good from outside the building. Food was really good! I’m super picky with food and the options scared me at first but they were amazing. Taste was never lacking and the wait for our food wasn’t long either. Only gave it a star less since the service/ waiter didn’t check up on us and another server had to give us refills. But both were great and really friendly to help us out.

Amazing barbecue restaurant located in the Irvine Spectrum Center. They have tons of indoor seating in a beautiful interior. The food is very delicious with good portions. The sampler appetizers and barbecue options gave us a nice spread of different yummy foods. The staff are very friendly and the free garlic bread is heavenly.

We have eaten here a couple of times when we are in the area and it has been very good each time, we would definitely go back again. The first time the brisket was amazing, and the second time the tri tip was very good.
The server was attentive, but not overly. There is a sports bar atmosphere with ranch-styling effects.

Had the Tri-tip mushroom soup and it was excellent. Had the Pulled pork W/baked beans, slaw & corn on the cob. All of which was great. We had a party of 11 and everyone loved their dinner. Ribbs, Tri-tip, Brisket, etc. Great place for groups or if you can get a cozy little corner booth, it’s good for a date night. Full bar, Family kid-friendly. Make a reservation, long wait times, and the place is packed on Fri. Sat.

They have great salads and their Tri tip is excellent. I also enjoy their salmon dinner and their vegetarian burger is excellent too. The Western Tri Tip Sandwich is fantastic. They have a really nice atmosphere, very cozy feel. They also have a complete bar with a great mixed drinks menu. They do a mean Martini. The bar is a great place to sit if you are alone and have a cocktail with a great steak or the salmon. I went there the other day and had a martini with the salmon dinner at the bar. Was a perfect way to unwind from work. People are really friendly and the wait help is very attentive to your needs. Lots of business staff frequent this place after work for a good meal so you know it is good.

We enjoyed a late dinner here on a Saturday night. I had called around 7:30pm to ask how long the wait was and was pleasantly surprised that they said a party of 4 or less could be seated in 10-20 min and a party of 5 or more would be closer to 30-45. Sounded reasonable! Especially since the Spectrum shopping center was SO busy!

Our party of 3 was sat about 15 minutes after we arrived. Our server (I think his name was Christian?) was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive and ready to make our dinner experience a pleasant one. He was so on top of our drink refills, without us even asking, and he had a very busy section. He did everything with a friendly attitude.

When our food was brought out by the food runner, they didn’t bring part of our order (an extra side of loaded potatoes). We waited awhile thinking that it was coming, but it never came. That happens. It’s fine. When I asked our server to just remove it from the ticket, he said “Absolutely!” and got it done for us.

Food was delicious – service was excellent – convenient location to all of the shopping – close to parking. Great place to eat!

My final night in O.C. and my cousin and I came here for dinner. The mall was bustling with activity. Despite that, there was no waiting. We sat and ordered drinks. My cousin wanted a S. Pellegrino. They were sold out. She then ordered a gin & tonic ($11.50). I was fine with water and a root beer ($4.50) since I was the driver. My meal started with the Tri Tip Mushroom Soup ($8.95). It is really good. Tender pieces of beef, big slices of mushrooms, and a broth that’s more like a stew’s gravy. My cousin’s entree was their Salmon with grilled asparagus ($27.95 + $1.50). I went with the 7oz Tri Tipped BBQ ($24.95). When asked how I wanted it I said medium-rare. While waiting for our entrees they brought bread to the table. It’s unique sweet bread that’s served warmed and had a buttery texture. Our entrees came. My cousin enjoyed her salmon and asparagus. I on the other hand was not so pleased. My first cut into the beef revealed it was not cooked to order. To be sure I cut directly in the middle. It was medium, and on the way to being done well. We called the server over, showed her it was beyond medium-rare, and then came the excuse that it’s going to be medium due to their precooking them the night before. Please get the manager I requested. Begin the long discussion of why they can’t prepare the beef to medium-rare. Not happy. I am disappointed, and troubled that they can’t cook the steak to medium-rare. If you know this, be honest and up front in telling your customers this fact. Had I known, I would have ordered a different cut of beef cooked the way I want. The manager comped dessert in an attempt to smooth things over; but that doesn’t change the fact that they were not honest about the Tri Tip beef. I’ll be back in town. If ever I’m looking for a place to have steak, this will not be the first places to consider. If you dine here, be warned. If they weren’t honest with me, they may not be honest with you. I’ve had amazing experiences elsewhere where I didn’t even have to ask. They had observed my steak was overcooked, and immediately fired up a new steak. That’s what I call outstanding service. My check after tax and comped dessert came to $85.50.
