This restaurant has the best pulled pork I have ever tasted. It came with baked beans, coleslaw and delicious garlic rolls. I started with a dinner salad that was delicious and my partner had a tri-tip salad. The waitress was absolutely awesome

So busy. Staff works so hard. Great choices on menu. Crispy onions are a great opener. Brisket, pork ribs, combos all work for us. Mashed sweet potatoes hit the spot. Roasted broccoli was tough. Good beer and wine choices. Great family place. Kids menu.

I was sad when Wood Ranch in Arcadia closed down. This is the closest location to me now and I have had David as a server a couple times. He remembered me when I came back so that obviously feels great!!! We always have a great experience here and the food never disappoints. This is one of my favorite restaurants to come with the family.

Some of the steaks and salmon were a bit overcooked but the garlic buns, chips with guac and the butter cake were excellent!

The bread was deadly, as in I wanted to eat 50 of them so +1 for that. The brisket and pulled pork were a 3, maybe 3.5 out of 5. They weren’t bad but they weren’t delicious either. The baked potato had nothing on it. I’m 60yrs old. I’ve never once had a baked potato delivered with nothing on it. The person taking my order didn’t ask “what toppings?” and I guess I wrongly assumed it came with some defaults given 60yrs of history. Yes, I could have asked for toppings but by then it would have been cold. I could have asked for new potato but then it would not have been with my meal or I’d have had to wait until everything else was cold.

I come here for comfort because that’s what the food gives me. The only thing I wish were better is the potatoes. I tried mash and baked and it lacks flavor. The baked beans is the best side. Don’t leave without trying the butter cake. Best thing on the menu. Every time I come here I also get good service. And I have no complaints for the bread. Definitely a family establishment but I feel good with eating alone here.

First time visiting Wood Ranch, I always heard good reviews about the food and the service but I had never experienced it. I am very pleased with my experience. The food was delicious everything from the garlic bread, cadillac margaritas, the baby back ribs and Oreo ice cream dessert was delicious.

We went there for lunch and ordered Beef Ribs with Baked Potato and Peanut Coleslaw, and Smoked Brisket with Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes.

The ambience is really nice and the food tasted really good. The meat was juicy, flavourful and soft. There were no mocktails on the menu but they made two for us which was really nice and also tasted great. Overall, highly recommend if you are craving for some BBQ in LA.

Haven’t been here in years, but the food is still good. I used to go to the one at the Santa Anita Mall. Servers were nice, but had to ask for things several times. Inside nice and they have a dedicated takeout area. Not a fan of how everyone is seated so close together when the restaurant wasn’t that full. The neighboring tables got kinda loud pretty quick.

The name, venue & menu makes Wood Ranch look & sound better than what it actually is. Here’s why:TRI tip look’d really good. But! my 1st bite, I ask’d for a cont’r. Bcuz! it was so dry, Mac & Chese was so thick it tasted like rub’r. there were only 3 items I liked. comp bread as ur seated, Bake potatoe & their Strawbry Daiquiris were the best. u can taste the liquor, alot small than other restaurants. But! well worth the price. I had 2 and had a nice buzz. Our dinner of 4 was $200 & to me, it was a waste. Two others at my table ordered Ribs & also very dry & very lil meat. The 4th person had TRI TIP mushroom soup & he said it was good. The servers were very friendly, polite &very attentive. it’s A beautiful restaurant & with excellent service. It’s a great place to sit at the bar & drink. But! not for dinner
