4 of us had dinner here on Thursday night and was greeted warmly by the owner. We tried one Margarita Pizza and another one w Italian Sausage and Pepperoni. The pies were good by but not the best pizza I have had. We also a large salad w some beers. The selection of beers is limited to 4 with no trace of IPA among them. They close at 9 so better go early if you want to try their Pizza.

Pizza was just delicious! We had the pesto with mushrooms, spinach and ricotta. We also added olives and garlic absolutely loved it. We will be back to try more options! The crust was thin and just tasty!

This place makes the best pizzas in the bay area!!! Coming from New Jersey and NY area I’ve been looking for a pizza place similar and I’ve found it!!! Delicious food, great friendly staff, and at lunch time it wasn’t busy.

This restaurant is brand new—(it opened January 2022, and hasn’t got much online presence)—so if it’s not busy when you visit, that’s why. :)) But I’ll say that we really liked it. The lady running the place was so kind and friendly to us, and provided great service. The pizza we ordered was fast, hot, and tasty, with a nice crispy dough, and the Prosecco serving generous. (I’ve already drunk quite a bit in the photo…)
We’ll go again, and would encourage you to check it out and support, especially as it’s a small new place being run by an older couple. That’s pretty rare in this area right now, compared to big hyped chains…
If I had to give constructive criticism: the pizzas are expensive for the size. You can totally share one between two people (we did!), but I think this place might fare a little better if they are able to cut prices a bit, or size up the pizzas.

We had an amazing experience at Wood Oven Pizza in Palo Alto, thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by the owner. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and valued as a customer. The owner went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. The pesto pizza was delicious and made with high-quality ingredients imported directly from Italy! We can’t say enough about the warm and friendly atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. If you’re looking for a place with great food and outstanding customer service, Wood Oven Pizza is the place to be.

My wife had gone here with a big group earlier and liked it, so she took me to see what I thought. We ordered a burrata pizza and I loved it. This place is now my favorite in the Bay Area, hands down. The ingredients are high quality, the flavors aren’t overpowering, and you can tell it’s made by people who actually want to create and excellent product. Their salad is also simple and delicious too.
The best part was the owner came out to say hi and we had a long 30-40 minute conversation about her business, the pizza, etc… I appreciated not only the excellent food, but also that interaction.
I’ll definitely be going back and I recommend you do too, at least once. Order a pizza or two to share, and get the salad too! You won’t regret it.

What a treat to find this pizza spot. Their pizza is delicious!!
Pizza, just the way I like it. Great crust that holds the plentiful toppings and served hot out of the wood fired oven. Nice selection of both classic and creative pizzas with tasty quality ingredients. Last night we tried the onion/mushroom and bacon/potato (yum!!) béchamel pizzas.
Enjoyed the decor, stylish tableware and friendly ambiance. The service was stellar. Also, check out the various places to dine. Outside on a lively street, inside in the quaint main dining area or upstairs balcony.
Already thinking about what I will try next time. Maybe pasta, new to their menu!

Beautiful pizza oven, and super friendly and warm service. Especially the older lady is simply lovely.
A good selection of nice pizza’s, however the price point is just off, ~35 after tip and tax for a relatively small pizza is too much. I would definitely come back at a lower price point.

Such a lovely place! The owner is super nice and friendly, it’s just a pleasure to see her enjoy what she is doing! The pizza tastes really great – thin, and crisp on the edges. The high quality ingredients make the difference. Price is $25-29 per pizza but definitely worth it.
