We were passing through on I65 and planned on placing a take out order but as the owner suggested, when you try somewhere new you should really eat there to get the best impression on the food you’re being served. We shared that our phones were low on battery and we still had several miles until we arrived at our destination. The staff offered to charge our phone while we sat down and ate a hot meal. The gyro and fries were just as awesome, if not better, than any gyro you would get in the Chicagoland area. Homemade tzatziki sauce, homemade aioli sauce, homemade ranch and homemade spicy ranch! Homemade fry seasoning was amazing! The kabobs! Some of the best fried pickles we’ve had in years. The gyro burger that staff suggested was phenomenal. Friendly staff. Inviting atmosphere. Unbeatable prices! If you are looking for an authentic “Taste of Chicago” gyro go no further north than Elizabethtown Ky! Woo Hoo will be seeing us again to sample more! Thank you Woo Hoo staff for inviting us to your table and making sure we left with full bellies and batteries!

I never knew I liked gyro on my burger, absolute banger. Very comfy place and welcoming staff. Only thing I would want to fix is I would appreciate ketchup bottles. I dislike having to open up all the little packets ♂️

Was able to stop in and have lunch at woohoo Greek a few days ago. The service was excellent and the food was very good definitely a place you should check out if it’s on your radar! My wife had the euro plate and I had the Spartan combo plate. It was a Thursday so we got free tea which was always a bonus 🙂 The food was well prepared and had a great flavor!

On a long drive to Chicago from Alabama, we wound up here for dinner when Nashville traffic delayed us from getting to Louisville by dinner time. I’m not mad about it though!
This restaurant is in a slightly more residential area, and we were a little surprised when Google Maps led us here. The parking lot is roomy enough and they have a patio area for outdoor seating. My one complaint is that it was pretty cold inside the restaurant, and that’s coming from a person who runs very warm. Nbd though!
We were greeted warmly upon entering and prompted as to whether we had any questions. After looking over the menu, my husband got the gyro burger and fries while I ordered the chicken shawarma and fries. The prices were pretty reasonable for two meals. I ran to the bathroom while we waited for our food and it was nice and tidy. Our food came out in a few minutes (which was great since we were in a hurry and wanted something fast but not fast food) and it was piping hot and clearly freshly prepared, including the fries.
Service continued to be lovely, making sure we had all the sauces we needed, checking in on us (unexpected but very nice at an order-at-the-counter joint), and bidding us farewell and a nice night when we got up to leave.
Our food was good! Hubs’ gyro burger was juicy and succulent and piled high with tender and savory gyro meat and nicely melted cheese. My chicken shawarma wrap had an impressive and enjoyable blend of flavors: slightly smoky chicken, zesty and bright peppers (new to me on a gyro-type wrap – an enjoyable addition), and just enough spice to stimulate the senses. The pita was so buttery and soft, too. The fries, as mentioned, were very hot and fresh and quite well seasoned. Personally, crinkle fries are among my least favorite cuts of fries, but these were done well. I do wish the portion of fries had been slightly larger, but on the bright side, it kept my dinner more manageable which helped me stay awake on the drive!
Definitely impressed with the quality of food and service. Give them a try if you find yourself in the area.

Second visit. Had the gyro burger and it did not disappoint. It was juicy and the gyro meat was tasty. Fries are always a must. Wife had the chicken gyro (as she doesn’t like lamb) and it was really good. The chicken was tasty and tender. We also took the recommendation from the cashier for the Happy Bread and it definitely made us happy. We highly recommend this to finish off the meal. It tastes sort of like baklava but with deep fried pita bread.
I have not had anything here that disappointed me. Everything is good and I look forward to trying more menu items!

Food is always great and everyone is friendly. My wife and I chose this spot as our last dinner before the delivery of our baby boy and it did not disappoint.

Excellent quality food and very helpful and friendly staff. My daughter got the Fetaah Plate which was very filling. I got the Spicy Falafel Sandwich which was a great vegetarian option. The fries that came with my sandwich were also delicious. Highly recommend checking this restaurant for Greek / Mediterranean food!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 – ordered a Sparta Plate with gyro and chicken gyro and a Rice Plate with lamb kebab and gyro. The food tasted very clean overall. The gyro was quite good but the chicken gyro not so much. The lamb kebab was seasoned well but on the drier side. Not sure why the greek salad was so sour but it didn’t taste quite right to us so we didn’t finish it.
Service: 5/5 – friendly overall but some confusion since someone with the same name placed a order a few minutes prior to us
Ambiance: n/a – ordered food to go. Music came from just one speaker by the kitchen and it was quite crowded with consistent traffic in during lunch time.
Value for price: 3/5 – note that the main menu doesn’t have prices on it so you’ll have to grab a paper menu to check. Decent food overall but the serving size was a bit smaller than we expected.

Prior to going to Elizabethtown, I needed to find a restaurant. Woo Hoo II came up in a Google search as did their website. I looked at menu, pictures, and reviews. Last night, I smelled an awesome food aroma. Wow! This restaurant smelled good. We ordered several items: Dolma, Spankopita, Gyro and fries, and Baklava. This food tasted delicious and I ordered more for take-out. We’ll be back, thank you Woo Hoo II for making delicious food!!! Happy New Year

Really enjoyed Woo Hoo. The gyro burger was phenomenal. My only possible complaint was the Spanikopita being a bit on the mushy side instead of crispy, but the flavors here are ON POINT. That burger, topped with shaved lamb and all the right Mediterranean toppings was a must try.
