Those ladies really know their way around a kitchen!!! Very friendly, courteous, and cook excellent food. Cooked Fresh, hot, and good flavor, you can tast the WOK HEY. Generous portions and reasonably priced. My first time eating here, very impressed. I will absolutely be a returning customer. For the price, it’s some of the best around in my opinion.

It’s a very old small place that can sometimes get extremely busy. However, the payoff is wonderful food and portions that are not to shy away from.

The service was great. The price is great. Unfortunately no one wears a hairnet. I had a long black hair in my food. I won’t be back due to this . True story last Friday evening.

NEVER AGAIN!! Don’t come here unless you want food poisoning!! Shared some rice, shrimp and gravy with a family member. Several hours later I’m up ALL NIGHT, nauseous, having stomach pains with watery diarrhea!! When I eat Chinese food from other places this NEVER happens! They’re probably serving old leftover food here. So disgusting…

I called in my order because I don’t eat onions, they make me sick. They are determined to make my food the way the want it. This is the second time they have given me onion. Why did the lady try to make me think that onions are cabbage. Then the young guy that was cooking said just tell her okay, knowing he was gonna put onions in, I should’ve ate it and sued them because my receipt clearly reads NO ONIONS. If you have allergies don’t go there, You will die.

The worst Chinese food I ever had!!
Lo mein had no taste, chicken fried rice was mystery meat and the chicken wings were soft so I had to recook all of the food when I got home. $27 for chicken wings with chicken fried rice and a Lo mein with no meat or vegetables.. JUST PLAIN!! NEVER AGAIN… YUCKKK!!!

Great food and great staff… could use an upgrade. Other than that this place definitely satisfies the hunger with their portions size.

My husband and I been going here for some time. Went there on a recent Friday late afternoon to get dinner. This particular visit will probably be our last. The lady that works at the cash register did not give my husband the credit card receipt to sign. As we were about to leave my husband noticed there was a $5.00 tip included. He went back in and told her she owe him $5.00. She gave it to him without incident. So please make sure you check your receipt for unauthorized tips. UPDATE: Have not been back here since my last review. Hubby and I decided to give another try(626/2024). He got pork yock and sausage and rice. I got chicken fried rice and general tso. DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN FRIED RICE!! I don’t know what is was, but it definitely was not chicken. Threw the whole thing out. The general tso was ok. I am extremely disappointed in the chicken fried rice. My stomach hurt all night long. The supposedly chicken was cube and clear, and the texture was rubbery.

The Best Chinese restaurant around. You get a heaping amount of food, the friendliest working personal in a clean atmosphere. It’s a small family restaurant who treats you like family and always smiling. I love Wong Kwok & my favorite is the Chicken Chow Mein. I come so often that they know my preference automatically.

One of the best Chinese spots in Portsmouth. It’s not your average Chinese restaurant; but in a great way. They do offer regular dishes, I recommend trying the unusual items on the menu. Those are their specialty. Like the smoked sausage and gravy pictured.
