Went for dinner here for two days straight.

Food pricing was very reasonable and the taste was delicious. Topped up with their warm service and greetings. Made us feel like locals immediately.

Highly recommend to split your fish into two types of cooking style (they will recommend you directly)

We loved the asam nyonya fish and soy saice deep fried sea bass.. their kam heong and salted egg squid is something to look for.

Even was kind enough to share their ABC sauce recipe as it was a good dipping sauce. Also do try the lime with asam drink. Go for the jug! It was amazing.

Looking forward for our next trip here!

Delicious food and great staff. I had a fried fillet with Nyonya sauce (this was sweet, sour, spicy), a big pile of stir fried, garlicky greens, steamed rice, spring rolls and a lime juice for rm43 – unbelievably reasonable! I got there around 6.30pm and was seated immediately, but it filled up pretty quickly after me and by 7.30pm people were queuing. It wasn’t a very peaceful dinner as there are lots of groups around you and it’s bustling, the staff are moving fast to deal with everyone efficiently, but definitely tasty and I would return to try other things on the menu.

It was a nice place to explore and I’m glad I tried it but I probably wouldn’t go again. I wasn’t quite sure how the pricing was calculated since my tiger prawn was charged RM36 (130g) even though it was listed at RM24 per 100g which left me a bit confused. I also couldn’t settle the bill with card as they asked me to pay with Grab and I didn’t have my wallet linked so that was inconvenient.

However staff who took my order was very friendly and while the food wasn’t top tier it was still above average.

Our Go-To Seafood Restaurant in Langkawi!

From the moment we ventured into this open-air seafood extravaganza, Michael attended to our preferences and advised us on the freshest options.

We’ve eaten here three times during our stay, and each time, Michael treats us like family. One time we just dropped in for a quick veg dish with a small rice portion, and he didn’t even bother charging for the rice – that’s the kind of genuine hospitality you get here! In fact Michael demonstrated how to enjoy the best part of the fish, its cherk.

We’ve tried the crispy soft-shelled crab, salt and pepper grouper, kangkong belacan, platter of the giant prawn combo of crispy butter/ garlic butter, and fried garlic kailan – everything was excellent!

If you’re looking for fresh seafood, warm service, and consistently delicious food in Langkawi, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Excellent recommandation form our hotel. This Chinese restaurant, specialised in fish and shellfish, offers a really nice menu selection. Either form meat and rice classics to fish dishes. I have ordered the Matis Prawn, an absolute tasty dish, not to spicy. The vegetables sides orders ( garlic cabbage and mix vegetables) were freshly cooked and well seasoned. The classic chicken sewer and sour was also perfectly cooked. Portions are well sized, you will have the choice from small, medium and big. To be honest, small ones are enough for one person and served with plain rice next to it.
Prices are very reasonable regarding the size and quality!
I really recommend to make a stop at this place…

A lovely place to eat. The food was well prepared every time we dined there. We tried a few other places, but we always came back to Wonderland. It’s definitely recommended for both the quality of the food and the reasonable prices.

The food was incredible. It was fast, affordable, and packed with wok hei. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend it. You’ll notice that most of the people eating there are locals. We were actually recommended by a local taxi driver to check it out, and we’re so glad we did!

Have to come back for every of my Langkawi trip cause it’s really the best!! The food is affordable & yummy, the Chinese uncle waiter is so friendly and helpful with the recommendations!

I love that you can do 2 flavors per fish so you really get to try more of their cooking. Highly recommend the steam nyonya fish & salted egg squid!

It’s really packed so come earlier or later as you will definitely have to queue if you come at 7-8pm…we arrived at 9:45pm and it was still full

Good food at a good price. Staff were super friendly too. Thanks to the staff who recommended that we could have the fish done two ways, we enjoyed both styles of steaming.

Came over to try this place after reading about it on #GoodFoodInLangkawi — and honestly, best choice ever!

The fish was so delish! The shop assistant recommended having it cooked two ways — half Nyonya and half steamed with soy — and OMG, it was amazing! Also ordered Kam Heong Lala and Sour Plum Chicken, both equally tasty, and their Kangkong Belacan was soooo good too

Overall, this is definitely a must-try seafood spot in Langkawi. Affordable, and surprisingly cheap for the quality!

I’ll definitely be back again!

Total bill (Seabass + Lala + Chicken + Veggie + 3 rice + drinks) came up to only RM100!
