I’ve been wanting to try a Wonder restaurant, and I just happened to find myself near the Port Jeff location, so I gave it a try.
My wife and I weren’t very hungry so we ordered small meals. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich with seasoned potato chips and I ordered four chicken tenders with an order of fries.
The food came out relatively quickly and since we dined in the food was nice and hot. All the chicken was pretty tasty and seasoned well. The fries and chips were nice and crispy.
For my first Wonder experience, everything went well. I will try the Port Jeff location again next week and will update this post. I want to try the Detroit-style pizza next.
The one issue I really had was the lack of seating. There are three tables here. That’s it. A bigger dining area would be nice.

Wonder is a wonder. Extremely professional and helpful staff. Wide variety of food options. We ordered take out: I had a tuna & shrimp poke bowl and my husband had a cheesesteak and fries. Both meals were excellent. Can’t wait to try other cuisines!

I checked out Wonder during the opening week after seeing an ad that the Port Jeff location was finally open. I was hesitant about the idea for this place, having never had an opportunity to try any of the other locations. As it turns out, everything was excellent!
Our group sampled many different items including several pizzas (Alanza, Di Fara + Detroit Brick Pizza co), brisket tacos (Limesalt), a chicken sandwich (Streetbird), and a brisket sandwich (Tejas). The group was very impressed with the items overall. You should go into it expecting similar quality to your typical food court. All 3 pizzas were better than expected but I wouldn’t say any of them beat the best neighborhood pizzerias in the area. The chicken sandwich was well-reviewed but would probably pass on their included garlic aioli (great quality chicken but the bun did sorta flatten from being in the sandwich baggie on the way home). The brisket sandwich and particularly the brisket tacos were excellent.
In terms of value, some options are much better than others, but I’d say they are all pretty reasonable. If you have a lot of different people to accommodate with a wide array of tastes, this should definitely be one to try out!

I like we can order different foods from one place.
Ordering was easy, food came hot and quickly, packed neatly. Delivery person was nice. Had brisket, brisket sandwich, pastrami on rye – which were good, the sauce was delicious, they were out of pickles.
Had small chips and queso was a good snack.
Chinese – spareribs, pork/shrimp wonton, Lo Mein – which was ok.
Looking to try more of their menu options. They do add a service fee but happy there was coupon available.

We were excited to try this new experience and what a complete disappointment!! Their website leads you to believe it’s a food court of different cuisines. Wrong. You walk into a small store front with 2 tables and several kiosks. You’re to order food through these kiosks or online. Nobody was there to assist you or answer questions. I peeked into the kitchen and all the food is pre-made waiting to be packed into containers. We lost interest and left.

Ordered for the first time tonite. We ordered a chicken sandwich from Street bird with the spicy onion rings. Also ordered from lime salt, a burrito bowl with grilled chicken, assorted veggies etc. and rice. Also got two large burrito wraps. The delivery was quick, everything was very good, and we will definitely order again. There are definitely good vegetarian options on a variety of the restaurant menus.

It is a very interesting concept and i love how easy it is to order and pick up, no waiting in line or standing around, notifcations and eta was spot on, and the food was good and fresh. It was nothing amazing, but its not fine dining. Being able to avoid the “what do we eat” debate was probably my favorite part. The pricing was very reasonable and its so nice to order pick up without the mark up like other ordering services. I have already recommended this to others.

Food was delicious and they have an awesome selection. Wonder in Port Jefferson was very busy and couldn’t handle the demand. My order took longer than an hour (sandwich and fries) . The staff was professional and trying their best. It’s still a new restaurant, over the next couple of weeks I’m sure they’ll fix the wait times.
