Had high hopes for a kbbq not located in ktown. Service was attentive and kind. Meat quality was lackluster and sliced too thin. Wanted to give this place credit where its due, but then a cockroach showed up and ruined the entire dinner. Wanted to like this spot but it just could not overcome its downfalls.

The MEAT VARIETY was real; big big love to Wonderpig for having THIN PORK BELLY as well as the thick slices. I love to try all the varieties! The staff were super attentive to our group of 8: Super shout out to Eric and Hazel and BELLAA (she made us feel extra welcome for our triple birthday bash). The place was very clean with compartments in the chairs so your clothes don’t catch the scents. Thank you guys so much!

We decided to go here as a central meeting point for folks coming from Jersey and Long Island. I had been to a Japanese BBQ place where you cook your own food, this was a little different. The place is spacious and brightly lit as the sitting areas need to be spaced out(cooking areas and smoke hoods), you sat on stools that you can store your items in. You chose the type of meat selection from 3 choices. The whole table must choose the same menu course. You are on a timer but we weren’t affected. There are many selections, so make sure to try all of them at least once. The tray can cook 2 portions at a time and once it gets cooking 4-5 adults will having trouble keeping up, but we have it our all. The food was delicious, they cook it all for you. Pork, beef was best we didn’t try the chicken. The Soju was awesome; pomegranate, lychee and blueberry… All very tasty. Make sure to get lettuce and rice. The salad was also very tasty. Just be careful and observant; when the server pulled back from placing meat on the cooking tray, some of the meat juice fell on the salad. We set that salad aside immediately. I definitely want to come back the seats were ok, but I dunno how long we can sit on those seats. Price was reasonable. Definitely go here and check it out.

We recently visited this Korean BBQ place, and while it wasn’t the best I’ve had, it was still a good experience!
When we ordered, one of my colleagues flipped the meat, thinking it needed turning. The staff member wasn’t thrilled and told us, “I know you’re a chef, but that’s not cooked yet. I will cook it for you!” It caught us off guard! We respected his wishes not to touch the meat, but it meant we ended up waiting longer and munching on raw veggies since the banchan wasn’t refilled. We even had to order extra rice and lettuce, which came with a surprise charge.
In the end, it took longer than expected, and by the time we heard the last call for the kitchen, we hadn’t eaten enough! It was a funny yet frustrating experience.

People say the food is amazing! I don’t eat koren food in general but also, the service is great. Every round you order food, the take the stove out and clean it! Firstly, if you are new here/new to self cooking places or you just don’t wanna cook, either way they have servers that help you cook so you don’t eat over/undercook meals and enjoy it more! Also, there is a lot of staff members so you wont be left with black food or even worse a fire possibly. They also flip and move your food around to check if its done for you! This place is very cool and clean plus, the seats may be uncomfortable to sit in for too long but the seats have storage in them! Lastly, when you walk in they have a rose wall that you can take pictures, memories, etc.! Overall, I rate this place 5 stars and so does the other 4 people I came with!

Wonderpig BBQ in LIC is a must-try for Korean BBQ lovers! It’s an all-you-can-eat paradise with a spacious and well-ventilated dining area. The ambiance is great, and the smoke is surprisingly minimal compared to other places. We particularly enjoyed the beef briskette and kalbi, and the service was top-notch. Our server, Omma, was incredibly kind and attentive. As a special treat for our friend’s birthday, she even surprised us with free ice cream! It was a fantastic experience, and we’re definitely going back for more.

I had an good experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to our exceptional server, Karry. She was incredibly attentive and well taken care of us throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and I especially loved the wide variety of options available on the menu. Karry’s outstanding service, combined with the great food selection, makes this place a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their delectable dishes!
