This is a great little local watering hole with an adequate bar menu that has more than reasonable prices. We live on the other side of the mountain from Smithsburg, but make the drive over mainly for the wings. They have the best ones around and, at just $13 for a dozen nice sized ones, they’re a prime example of why wings don’t need to be so ridiculously high priced as they are at other places. The Memphis Rub ones are great and my wife loves the garlic parmesan with extra garlic. We typically go on Fridays or Saturdays when Maggie is working, she’s one of our favorite bartenders (and we know quite a few.)

I have been to the wolfe’s den multiple times. Tonight I came in, in shorts, with a friend who was dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt and I personally felt visually violated by “the owner.” She kept looking at me, over and over again, until the waiter came over and said it was the owner CLAIMING we BOTH looked “very young.” We were not sitting at the main bar and there were so many other woman who looked WAY younger then us, an people with children…ALSO, we NEVER EVEN GOT THE CHANCE TO ASK FOR AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. Jason is the only good person in this place. Thank you Jason for making MY personal night better!!!

We really enjoy this place! Outside and Inside seating choices are wonderful. The food is very good, the service is great, prices are super, and the other patrons are always nice. Its a welcoming environment. We’ve met the owner. She’s a delightful, personable, friendly lady.Tonight we had the Old Bay wings, crab balls, fries, a Bloody Mary, pickle shots, and an angry orchard.

Cozy neighborhood tavern with several beers on tap, super nice bartenders, and good food. We love The Judge — huge salad topped with steak and cheese and a handful of those delicious fries. Big enough for 2 and cost less than a McDs value meal. Burgers are good too.

Wow this place is really cool and off the hook I had such a great time here playing pool and drinking cold beer on a hot day. The place is very clean and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable on drinks. I’ll definitely be going back soon.
