Absolutely love this restaurant! The vibe walking in is so welcoming and vibrant. They just got going and are killing it! Food is fresh and delicious and the owners are super friendly. Great music, relaxing, yummy, and filling!

Great addition to T or C dining. The menu is limited but probably still has something for everyone. The Rasta Pasta was incredible and I’d highly recommend. The salad plate was also very good. The kava was interesting, will definitely get a larger portion next time. Lovely little spot with super friendly owners. Stoked to have this option now!

From my experience of every restaurant and cafes I have gone I can only tell you that this is the best place from New Mexico to eat. Although Truth and Consequences doesn’t have many things in their city this small cafe brings the true joy and environment form there. It’s a small owned business which is definitely a plus. When you enter first you feel the comfort from the servers and the cafe. Now the food is on another level it’s just the best. I have not the best paladar but I have gone to many places and out of all of them the best food I have ever tasted I definitely recommend PAPAS R-TAS best plate their so far with the chipotle . I TRULY recommend this place 10/10

Only place in Truth or Consequences to get smoothies and they are reallllly good. Pomegranate berry and the dragonfruit smoothie will brighten your day. Coffee is great and perfect atmosphere to chill out.

Enjoyed the Cristo with fruit, papas with eggs over easy, a Mango smoothie, and a Bloody Mary with kava instead of alcohol. Everything was super delicious!

The smoothies were very good. My husband is a vegetarian and really enjoyed the Papas dish. Pet friendly to his service dog. Frequently visit from LC. I hope they will extend their hours in the future so we can get those lovely smoothies as an afternoon refreshment. . We will be back.

Newest restaurant in Truth or Consequences. They feature a nice selection of Cuban and other Caribbean dishes. It’s the kind of place where you order at a counter they bring your food to your table.
I had the Cubano sandwich which was tasty but not exactly like the Cuban sandwiches I’ve had previously – this one was creamy (mayo?) and lacked mustard. Also, instead of pickle slices inside the sandwich it had two small pickles on the side.
I still recommend this restaurant. It’s a lovely addition to our charming town.
There are two nice, shaded tables outdoors which are handy for people with dogs.
The service was fast and friendly.

So excited about this new restaurant! Only place in town open Monday and Tuesday!!! The Cuban is TO DIE FOR. And I’m from Miami. The kava drinks are spectacular and unique. Smoothies are so fresh and delicious. Be patient with this new business, there may be a longer wait for your food because they are still running the whole place without much help!
If you’re impatient and looking for super fast food, this isn’t your joint. If you have some time to kill and are looking for a truly delicious meal that won’t leave you disappointed like so many other locations in town, give them a try!

What a fabulous new addition to t or c! The food was so yummy and the smoothie hit the spot! I finally got over to try them out, it was a struggle as there hours are a bit limited. But totally understand as they have just opened up. Looking forward to going back soon to try the rest of their menu!

The Cubano was grilled and delicious. The salad was generous. And the Kava experience was my first. The fresh juice shots that came with it were perfect. A relaxing intimate and laid back evening.
