I see some bad reviews for this place, but I thought it was perfectly fine. Yes, it is a bit more pricey than you would find in a big town. Don’t forget that you’re in the Rockies and you’re paying for their added costs on everything. Yep, it’s kinda quirky. The young man that took our order is not a professional waiter and I wouldn’t expect one out here. He was perfectly pleasant. My bf and I both ordered burgers and we split an order of fries. Food came out quickly. The patties were likely frozen, but again, how could a restaurant out here keep fresh inventory? The tomato, lettuce and onion we’re fresh. Overall, it’s exactly what we were expecting. The bonus was the delightful deck where we ate. Surrounded by flowers, nice touch.

Not many options for GF. I was told that they had GF spaghetti, but it would need to be cooked. I then asked for plain french fries, but apparently they don’t do these in evening. ???? I settled for a glass of white wine. I will eat my own food at trailer. My husband had the Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes veggies and gravy. Not good. the hamburger patty was chewy and flavourless. The veggies were frozen peas and carrots. And the potatoes were definitely not real but powdered. All this for $30 CDN. A truly uninspiring place. Do not recommend!

I travelled across the Yukon and all the way up to Tuk, this was the worst stop. There’s no paper towels in the bathroom and no water unless you pay. They advertise wifi access and then have a list of rules saying you can only check your email and will removed from the property with no refund if you are caught on your phone. It is also only turned on between 3 and 11 pm. You can pay for a wifi enabled campsite but have to follow the same rules. The bathrooms are a 5 minute walk from the campsite, which was one of the worst areas I had to camp at. Ant hills everywhere and it was only a patch of gravel. 40$ per tent and 70$ per RV. And of course the prices are extreme, even for the area. 25$ for a breakfast of liquid egg, a fried slice of deli meat, rehydrated hashbrowns and one slice of toast. That’s the only option. One of the people I was with has an egg allergy so the chef offered to make a ham sandwich instead but put miracle whip on it. When they went to ask for it to be remade, it was hard for him to admit he made a mistake but he did end up remaking the food. The tip is added before you pay and there are no prices listed on the menu. Everyone was very friendly and the place was quite clean but that’s a bare minimum. It’s obvious this place is a cash grab and it ruins the vibe they’re trying to create of a quaint family business

Food is overpriced. The burger was good, but it had a small patty on a homemade bun, small fries cost $12.00, Chicken strips and fries $19+, and the burger alone is $20.00.

Two stars because the staff was friendly, and well, the food was… mostly edible.
My dad and I will laugh for years to come about the worst breakfast we’ve ever had, which was at this place. My dad “upgraded” to bacon and it was barely cooked, so he was afraid to eat it. The dinner was better, but still pretty meh. Both dinner and breakfast were super expensive for what you get.

Great staff.
Pricey, but you’re in the middle of nowhere, so come prepared.
Food was “college” food. Spaghetti sauce from a can, microwave mixed veggies, things like that.
The menus seems to change on the white board.

We stopped in today on our way north. I was a little disappointed that the gift shop next door wasn’t open, but it was early in the morning. I ordered a latte and it was delicious, my husband bought a couple of sausage rolls and an orange cranberry muffin, they were so delicious!! If you’re out in the Alcan just north of Watson Lake I feel it’s worth a stop here!

Great family owned business. Daughter and son in law work very hard to make this a family atmosphere Diner. They have a very limited menu, but delicious! We were there for a Sunday night dinner, spaghetti! Delicious. Stopped in for breakfast- one thing on menu(scrambled eggs, ham, hash browns and a slice of toast of homemade bread!) And homemade cinnamon buns we got to go for breakfast the next morning! Need to check out the gift shop next door!

Excellent.
The gas was reasonable too.
Don’t make the mistake of going to the Continental divide, which is close to it. Complete cheats.
These guys were great!
