Wokworks is a Philadelphia-based franchise company serving fresh, halal, farm-to-fork stir fry. Beginning as a brick-and-mortar store in 2013, Wokworks currently operates pickup and delivery kitchens in Brewerytown and Northeast Philadelphia and a fleet of food carts and trucks serving hospitals, universities, and private events throughout the city. The newest location in ShopRite of Cheltenham will be open seven days a week from 11 am – 9 pm. Menu highlights include dry pepper steak, honey garlic shrimp, chili garlic chicken, a brand new vegan, gluten-free category, and side items such as spicy brussels sprouts and crispy edamame dumplings. Had the Honey Garlic Shrimp bowl. The flavor is very good. The shrimp were translucent and chewy. I took them out and put them in a pan to cook. Hope they were not old and I don’t get sick.

The food here always tastes fresh and flavorful! The bowls are really appetizing and they serve good portions! My family come here as well and they really enjoy themselves too! My personal favorite is the dry pepper steak.

I enjoyed the meal I purchased at Wok Work. I had the Happy Family (chicken, steak, and shrimp) with lo mein mixed in their honey garlic sauce. The noodles had a nice chew and all the protein was good. It was enough for two servings. I also purchased the spring rolls. I personally think $5 for 3 small spring rolls was steep.

I typically don’t write reviews, but let me just start with I do love the food. For some reason they struggle with reading or instructions because I ALWAYS get meat in my vegan orders. I’m not sure what’s going on, I’ve ordered again after mistakes but I am done. It’s very inconvenient, inconsiderate & also false advertising. Just take “vegan” off your menu. I never even want a refund I just want MY FOOD!!! Lost a customer. Pls do better. Chicken in my vegan veggie general Tso is insane. For the 3rd time. BEWARE
