From the outside you’d never guess how good this place is. The food was made fresh and tasted amazing. The young man at the counter gave us good suggestions, and turned down the music when I asked with a smile. Portions are large – I ate about half of mine and took the rest home because it was far too good not to save. I’ll definitely be going back.

This place is like a hidden gem in Portland. Food was extremely good and I could tell all of them were freshly made. The Korean beef short ribs were really good, the amount of meat that they gave was very generous.

So I’ve gotten the chicken teriyaki here a couple of times and this time, the white rice it came with tasted like soap
But otherwise, it’s been some of the best chicken teriyaki i’ve had in portland. But hey, at least you know, they use soap to wash their dishes.

Amazing experience! Staff was extremely friendly, and we tried the General Tso’s Chicken with Fried rice. The fried rice was flavorful, the chicken was crispy and just a tiny bit spicy – fantastic place.

I had to kill some time on NE 82nd and randomly chanced upon Wok Shop. Honestly it was a bit intimidating from the outside as it’s next to what seems like a seedy 7-11…but step inside and it’s clean, updated and professionally run. The Pad Thai with tofu was delicious and the portions very generous. I might try the Tofu Salad Roll next time.
