This is a common lunch spot for employees working in downtown Houston who go to the tunnels system to grab a bite. It’s exactly what you would expect from a small Chinese place catering to lunchtime crowds, i.e. generic, not overly flavorful food that still serves its purpose due to its location and price. It’s very convenient to get to, and lunch combo specials provide a choice of various kinds of rice or lo mein, 1 or 2 meat entrees (selected from the entrees of the day such as bourbon chicken, General Tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, pepper steak) as well as a side of either egg roll, green beans, or steamed vegetable (soup such as egg drop soup is available for an extra $1.50).
This place won’t win any culinary awards, but it’s not trying to, and its patrons aren’t expecting it to. If you want a quick bite that’s close to several downtown offices without being overly worried about outstanding quality, this is a place to consider.

The atmosphere feels amazing and also has this “aesthetic” view inside. The food is what you expect, really good Chinese food and for a fair price. I do recommend this chain if you would like some good and quick food to go, especially to workers.

Absolute worst food I have ever tried in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and get food from somewhere else.

Bought a $12 lunch to go. Did not get a drink. I turned right around and said I will get a fountain drink after all. They said no cuz its only $2 and I wanted to pay with my card and with a card its minimum $3. Really???? I passed and let them know I wont be back. They saved the credit card transaction cost but lost a customer. Bad business.

Was here for lunch & did not like it. The food tasted much like frozen Chinese food from the grocery store you can make at home. Everyone has different tastes though.

Skimping on the rice/noodles by only filling up one side.

One of the better options for Chinese downtown. The pan fried dumplings were surprisingly good

Got the general Tso and beef. Both the sides and rice tasted terrible. Bland and greasy. Skip!
