It’s crazy to me how hard it is to find a restaurant that has both good food and service – they’ve got it here! It was our first time coming in, we had a lot of questions and they were so kind and patient helping us, with smiles on their faces! The food was out very timely and when I took everything out I could see how they packaged it up so thoughtfully! I’m thinking, okay good on everything so far… but how’s the food?? Seriously, SOOOO delicious!! We got the sesame chicken, broccoli beef, and steamed dumplings – it SLAPPED! Excellent food, excellent service, price not much more than Panda Express, so it’s a no brainer for me – this is my Chinese restaurant spot now!!

WAY BETTER THAN YOUR “RUN OF THE MILL” Chinese restaurant. Not saying it’s perfect, but we enjoyed it way more than every other Chinese restaurant around here.

The Szechuan chili dumplings are a must have. Not overly spicy, and packed with flavor.

We liked the Chongqing chicken a lot, but did feel it could have been fried a bit longer, or fried a bit hotter (compared to the same dish elsewhere.

The soup dumplings broke apart a bit easily which made it tough to actually enjoy the broth as it spilled out, but those that held together were delicious!

The general’s chicken and hot-and-sour soup were just okay, in my opinion.

The service was great and we will most certainly be back to enjoy more of the menu!!!

Wok Provisions has easily become my favorite restaurant! My husband and I have gone several times since they have opened and never gotten anything that was less than amazing. Their bao buns are to die for. I am absolutely addicted to the steamed chicken and cabbage bao. They are made fresh to order and are served with a delicious dipping sauce. They are HUGE! Easy to share for an appetizer but I always get them as my meal. We took our oldest son out last week for dinner and he raved about their sesame chicken. It was very flavorful and crispy. My husband has tried the Kung Pao and and general Tso’s chicken and recently had the braised beef noodle soup and the beef was so juicy and tender! The lunch portions are great as well! The only downside is they don’t have fountain beverages, but bottles or speciality drinks. We mainly drink water with dinner, but I really want to try the thai tea.

Nice little spot. As far as I have seen, the only place outside Chinatown that has cold noodles. They were on point. In addition to the Chinese food classics you usually find, they also have a couple authentic Chinese dishes on the menu. Def recommend.

Previous time I came I had the Mongolian beef which was on point.

1st time eating here. I’ve been wanting to try it and the food was DELICIOUS .
We got the pan fried Bao (it’s like a bread dumpling) with chicken and cabbage. They were good. We also got the WonTon soup and Hot & Sour soup. It was nice and hot and very good. Will get again. They give you soup crunches too for your soup.
I ordered the Vegetable stir fry with chicken and friend rices. Fresh and cooked Perfectly. The sauce was so yummy I wish I knew how to make it. We also tried the lychee tea and it was sweet and kinda taste like peaches. They put something on top which I assume where lychee but still unsure. Had a weird texture when eaten.

When you walk in, we were not sure what to do as no one was there to greet us. We grabbed some menus from the counter and sat a table. Someone came and took our order and brought our drinks and food but no one came back to give us refills or being us our check. I went to the counter to get to go boxes and our check and paid at the counter.

Something I did not like was they brought my entree out before the appetizer. They brought our soups, then my entree, then minutes later the appetizer. My entree sat in front of me until I finished my soup and got to eat some appetizer. Wasn’t too bad I guess since the food was hot and it allowed tike to cool but I prefer my entree to come after I’ve had my appetizer.

I will return. It was delicious

Decided to check out Wok Provisions because of all of the great reviews. Ordered takeout on a Friday night and the place was slammed with diners and pick up orders when we arrived. We ordered three entrees and the scallion pancakes. Proteins were plentiful, the veggies were fresh, and everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken spicy dry pot and scallion pancakes were over the top delicious! We loved everything! We have found our new go to Chinese takeout! Thank you for a wonderful meal and ensuring take out is still an amazing experience.

Came in with a friend yesterday (Thursday July 18th around noon). The place was not crowded and we were seated quickly. We ordered a couple of Arnold Palmer’s to drink while we looked at the menu; the waiter didn’t know what they were but once explained he kind of figured it out, his English was not very good (not a problem just an observation). When he brought the drinks it was basically half sweet/half unsweetened tea with a wedge of lemon so not what we wanted but we adapted.

We wanted to order appetizers but neither of us was familiar with most of their appetizers so we didn’t order any. If they had more pics of the appetizers on the menu it might have helped us pick one.

So we went straight to the entrees. My friend got the Mongolian beef, which was simply broccoli and beef with a couple of carrots, funny because they also have broccoli and beef on the menu. Makes no sense. We both always share our dishes and we both agreed the beef was very tough with lots of gristle. Not seasoned at all either. The broccoli was fresh which is good but the dish itself was very underwhelming. The steamed rice was perfect.

For my entree I ordered the king pao chicken, and this is going to be difficult to review. First of all the flavor is incredibly balanced and tasted excellent, and all of the ingredients were perfect as far as flavor and portions, except for 2 things: not enough peanuts and way too many hot peppers. The peanuts can be easily fixed by adding more, the problem with the peppers is not as easily solved according to the female owner or manager who I spoke to about it. She said it’s a spice dish to which I replied yes I know, kung pao is one of my favorite dishes. She said they put those many peppers in because people like them. Well I also like them but not in EVERY SINGLE BITE! They’re pretty hot peppers and I being someone who loves spicy Chinese and Thai food, it was too much for me. The easiest way to solve this is to not cut the peppers so little so that customers can easily see them and move them away if they want so many, OR the wait staff can ask how spicy someone wants it. This is not difficult to fix but if the owners don’t fix it they’ll lose customers like us. So again, the flavor of the kung pao was great and except for too many peppers it would easily be the best kung pao chicken in the area by far. I’ve done hundreds of reviews across the county on Chinese food and if they could fix this I would drive the many miles to get here just to order it.

With your lunch entree you get a choice of egg drop soup or hot and spicy soup. We both got the egg drop; it was good, not your typical flavoring and style and it also has corn in it but again it was good.

One nice surprise were the vegetable spring rolls, they were delicious, didn’t even need sauce for them. I could eat about 10 of those as a meal and be ok.

At the finish of our lunch we ordered some hot oolong tea to settle the food and it was good, kind of bland but it hit the spot.

As far as the restaurant itself there are a couple bench tables, one table for a large group and 4 or 5 booths for 4 or less people.

The location is excellent right off Hwy 92 and there is plenty of parking.

The area is busy but easily navigable and the restaurant is in a plaza in front of Sam’s club so if you need to do some shopping it’s convenient.

I realize this business is new and may take awhile to get on its feet, and they are apparently still hiring so I don’t want to take away too many stars from a fledgling business, so as an active reviewer with many reviews I’d like to offer the owner some unsolicited advice.
1. Get a new menu with photos or have some way for folks to visualize what they are ordering
2. Ask your customers about their spice levels and amount of peppers they want (such as the Kung Pao)
3. Hire staff with knowledge of your customer base
4. Fix the beef problem! Tough and stringy is not good.

I would normally give this experience a 2 star at best but since they’re still on a learning curve I will give 4 stars and give them one more chance.

The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was satisfactory. The availability of scallion pancakes, a less common offering in Asian restaurants, piqued my interest, prompting me to dine at this establishment. The meal was exceptional; the fried rice was perfectly prepared, and the chicken was tender. My only concern was the tea service, as I anticipated oolong but received a green tea teabag.

The best Chinese food I’ve ever had! It tastes so fresh and clean but also indulgent. The egg drop soup is special and all the chicken dishes I’ve had were amazing portions and quality. GO!

My husband is currently gagging in the bathroom after pulling a very long, black hair out of his General Tso’s. The fried rice is pale and bland, the veggie spring rolls were mushy and bland, and the wontons in my soup contained inedible bits of cartilage. Gross.

Please don’t waste 70$ like we did: skip this place and get something from the frozen section at the grocery store.
