Husband brought home bourbon chicken and egg drop soup, food is not good at all. The bourbon chicken was tough, and it seemed as if they took the cooked chicken left out for yesterday and dumped bourbon sauce on it. The egg drop soup was disgusting!! It basically tasted like they used the hose water outside from 1986 and added instant egg noodle soup from Food Lion when it was still in that strip!!

The food is stellar every time we order! Portion sizes are great, we got two meals to feed a family of 5 (kids under 8). There’s one table inside and I’ve never seen anyone ratingt there before.

I’ve been getting takeout from Wok n Roll on a regular basis for over 10 years. I live in the next town over and I drive over to pick it up. I’ve never had a bad meal from them. I order the same thing almost every time, General Tso’s chicken. Enough spice but not enough to send you running for your drink. It’s my favorite place to get GTC. I’ve tried others in Jonesville and Gainesville. I prefer Wok n Roll. My husband tried different menu items. He’s never had a bad experience and enjoyed them all.

Wok and roll in Alachua I used to eat there a lot the prices got way too expensive had a little extra money this week ordered a small chicken lomain and two egg rolls the chicken lo Mein was dry and pasty barely had any chicken in it and the egg rolls shrunk…. Next time I think about eating Chinese I’ll probably go to McDonald’s instead…

Positive: THE EGG ROLL WAS PERFECT! Negative: The egg drop dip tasted like oil. The sesame chicken only had about 3 pieces of actual chicken everything else was batter cooked to a crisp. 85% of it tasted old and reheated way too many times. The rice and veggies in the fried rice also tasted old. I didn’t eat the food I paid for. I do not plan on revisiting.

We did not love the food. DH had broccoli beef but there was no sauce in it. The spring rolls had a strange unpleasant taste. My vegetable Mei Fun was ok. We will look for a new place.
