My family and I loved eating at Southern Spice! It smells so good as soon as you walk in and the food tastes even better. We got the Gobi Manchurian, Bhindi fry, the Mysore Masala Dosa, Onion Chili dosa, and the tomato dal. The food was delicious and everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The sambar was really flavorful and we got some extra to take home with us. The spice level was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys spicy food like I do. We are very excited to eat our leftovers and we’ll definitely be back again soon!

We visited this place for dinner. We tried the mixed veg platter, chilly paneer, masala dosa, Mysur masala dosa and onion uttapam. The veg platter was flavorful, the chilly paneer was good though a bit sweet, and the dosas were decent. The uttapam was flat and not as good as the other items. Service was quick and the overall experience was okay.

My friend and I came in and ate two appetizers: onion samosas (vegetarian) and chicken 65. The chicken 65 had incredible flavor and had cashews that mixed in well with the over all taste. I would highly recommend coming here, and I will be going back whenever I am in the area.

This restaurant is outstanding and I have nothing but positive feedback to share! I’ve had the chicken tikka roll to go for lunch and tonight for dinner I enjoyed their butter chicken with garlic naan while dining in, all amazing! The portions are VERY generous and the quality of the food is excellent, for the price point too you cannot go wrong. All of the staff is very friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some delicious and authentic Indian cuisine!

Chairs were comfortable to sit. Menu has lot of options but few are not yet started, so better to check what is available and opt for the best.
We tried Chicken 65, Chilli Goat Ghee Roast, Butter Naan, Chicken Mughalai, Gongura Chicken Dum Biriyani.
Chicken 65 tasted excellent and kids loved that. Goat Roast tasted so nice and spicy. Perfect appetizers.
Butter Naan was so soft. Chicken Mughalai also good with boneless chicken.
Gongura Chicken Dum Biriyani was also so good. Kept all the Gongura hidden in the bottom of the bowl with Biriyani on top. 3 pieces of chicken in Biriyani. Chicken was so tender in all the dishes.
Goat appetizer was with bone and that tender compared to chicken.
Table service was good with complementary water bottle instead of glass of water which is nice.
Little hard to find the restroom as no indications available. Separate Restrooms for Men & Women. Automatic lights and we’ll maintained.
This place attracts all age groups. They do have high chairs for toddlers. It appears less space and tables at the front side of the main entrance but they do have more tables at other side but need to walk little.

Southern Spice as an authentic south Indian restaurant. It’s hard to find authentic Indian food in this area, particularly south Indian food, and this is such a lovely addition and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. Their prices are very reasonable and the food is absolutely delicious, ESPECIALLY their goat roast biryani. It was incredible! Rice was perfectly cooked, wonderfully spiced, and the portion of goat meat was generous and the meat was tender, fresh and flavorful. Their masala chai is also excellent. Great balance of a full flavored black tea that was very creamy and well spiced.
The dining area is bright and cheery and they have Tamil and Telegu movies playing on the screens. The girls at the front are just so kind. We were greeted right away and they chatted with us while we waited for our order. They really were so sweet and were able to give us recommendations on what to order and knew their menu so well.
There is a spacious parking lot and plenty of handicap accessible spaces right near the restaurant which was helpful.
Overall we had an excellent experience at Southern Spice. Great food, very fair prices, cooked well and authentic flavors. And I really cannot say enough about the hostess and waitress. Honestly some of the best service I have ever had. Will absolutely be back!

Ordered through Uber Eats and I’m honestly impressed. The Babai Idli was outstanding. Super soft idlis and the chutneys were unlike anything I’ve had before, very different and absolutely delicious. The Butter Chicken was just as good. Rich, creamy gravy with juicy, perfectly cooked chicken.
I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place earlier. That’s my only regret. Everything we ordered hit the mark, and I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Don’t play stupid, cheap tricks if you can’t take criticism and accept underwhelming service. Our conscience is clear that there was no topic of discount whatsoever. Also, the seat your staff offered near the pop-up AC was cramped and unhygienic.
One of the worst experiences I’ve had. First of all, there’s no AC, and it was boiling hot inside. No mention of it anywhere, no warning, we were already seated, so we just went ahead and ordered, thinking at least the food might be worth it. But no, it was even worse.
We ordered biryani, and it was clearly old, reheated, dry, and had zero flavor. Just plain rice with some masala dumped in. Super disappointing.
Even though one staff member apologized, What annoyed me more was another staff member trying to justify the heat and make excuses for everything, instead of just being honest.
This is something the owner or manager needs to take seriously. If you’re charging restaurant prices, at least provide a basic dining experience, starting with fresh food and working AC.

Very good goat biryani and chicken 65. My wife had the butter chicken, she loved it. The naan in particular is better than I’ve had elsewhere, and the portions are generous. I asked for very spicy, and they delivered. Will be coming back
