This would honestly have to be the best fried rice I’ve ever eaten, absolute perfect blend of taste just a little bit of salt but not too much salt but just enough so it still is very tasty. Nice amount of ingredients and a nice decent serve size. it was really nice and I definitely recommend this place. The spring rolls were also really nice as well but unfortunately we ate them before we took a photo of them but take my word for it. They’re amazing as well. Definitely recommend this Place.

This place is clearly a hidden gem.. totally loved it.. spice is very similar to schezwan numbing spice.. this place ins right next to the food court next to hmart..

We tried Spicy dry pot style which is wok stir fry style.. we scooped different kinds of vegetables.. shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, different types of mushrooms, lotus roots, sprouts, potato slices choose to be made EXTRA spicy..

We got a side of rice perfect for the stir fry.. if looking for something non spicy get tiny spice level.. we didn’t try any meats here this time.. we will be back next time around to try next spice level..

Was here a year ago ordered the dry pot. Absolutely delicious. A year later came back looking forward to my dry pot, unfortunately food was not the same. Not sure if ownership changed or what, but as you can see in photo #2, my dry pot had soup/liquid (which shouldn’t be for an authentic dry pot).

Food was not spicy enough and the dry hot pot was soupy at the bottom. It seems like they boil all orders and scoop out the ones that request dry hot pot instead of frying them from the start. Definitely not worth the money. Better to go to the location in Fort Lee. Also, woman at the front was wearing a mask under her chin and coughing without covering her mouth or turning away from the food.

Even though there was NO ONE on the line or waiting, I waited 25+ minutes for the fried mushrooms. A very strange place. If you’re hungry, definitely don’t wait — there are plenty of options. Eat at the places next door that are packed with customers but still keep the service time to 5 minutes max.

The food is good but my sister got very sick. She can’t eat peanut and we asked them if her food had any peanut ingredient. They said it didn’t, but it must have or it cross contaminated with peanuts. Don’t eat here if you are allergic to peanuts

I waited 50 minutes on a weekday, even though there were only one or two other customers. The owner deliberately slowed everything down — it felt hostile.
Why? My guess is because I didn’t tip.

But honestly, there is no service at all: you pick up your own food, clean up your own table, and even return the dishes yourself.
So why should I tip?

Very disappointing experience.

As a Chinese person that gets dry hot pot frequently in Flushing, this was a pleasant surprise inside of American Dream. Would definitely come back if I find myself at American Dream again and might even prefer it over some other dry pot restaurants in NYC

Avoid this place, skewers are expensive but taste so bad, meat smells so not fresh, don’t recommend at all.
