This is our 3rd year skiing Killington. We discovered Wobbly barn 2024 during our first visit and had Valentine’s dinner. We fell in love with the charred octopus! I’m glad it’s still on the menu and it still tasted great.
In 2025, we failed to reserve a table and they are fully booked. We made sure that this year we won’t make that mistake, so we booked ahead of time. I ordered the swordfish kebab for myself with coconut rice. The combination is soooo good I was very surprised! Husband goes traditional with his NY strip steak, perfectly cooked to medium rare with rice and mushrooms and onions! We both agreed that Wobbly Barn will be part of our traditional stop when visiting Killington.

Special shoutout to our server Steve! He showcased the epitome of great service!

One word (name), “WILL!” Best server we’ve had in a while. Will was friendly, knowledgeable, and so accommodating. As for the food, incredible all around. Not one thing we didn’t like. Recommend: filet & scallops special, octopus appetizer, the ribs, the NY strip, truffle mashed potato’s, and the incredible desserts (mud pie & the special maple cheesecake). They also have delicious cocktails & blue cheese stuffed olives for the dirty martini lovers. We’ll be back during our next ski trip!

One of the key spots to stop at while in Killington. Last week we had dinner there twice. I had the prime rib. It was perfect. Kids’ meals were also great. While I greatly miss the salad tower (please bring it back!), the house salad was very good. Also, please teach your bartender not to fill up a glass of scotch with ice (it’s not soda!). Overall, my family loves the Wobbly Barn. Thanks!

A must in your ski trip! We have been coming here from over 7 years to end our ski day with a nice dinner.

-No reservations are accepted.
-Expect high wait times (40mins to 1.5hr) depending on busy season and around busy dinner times in the evening. Tip: The later you go the more you wait so go earlier if you can.

They will not accept if one of your party member shows up and asks for a table: the entire party needs to be present. Once seated the food comes very quickly and service is excellent.

Food is fantastic. They didn’t change the menu from all these years so pretty much they have been consistent.

Appetizers: French onion soup – very good, we haven’t had it better then here anywhere else! Octopus appetizer with humus and garnish of vegetables is a must try if you like seafood. Very tender not chewy and seasoning/sauces are amazingly delicious. All salads are great and filling.

Entrees: If you like fish then Halibut is very popular and cooked to extremely perfection. Very delicate and flavorful. Duck and chicken are also very good.

Desserts: Have been having their signature creme brûlée – very rich and a shareable nice portion good for two. Chocolate cake with ice cream is also great.

Wines and cocktails are great. We ordered a bottle of wine which was about $48.

Pricing: A bit on the higher price range but quality and service is exceptional. Plan $80-$100 per person. We were over $360 for 3 of us.

This is an awesome sit down dinner place. It’s a little pricy and owned by Killington. It apparently turns into a night club after hours but we didn’t stay for that. We both had the steak and scallops which was awesome. The wait staff was fast and did a great job explaining the menu. We also had the duck poutine which was honestly the best thing we ate, and the steak and scallops were great. I am from Wisconsin and this place sort of felt like a Wisconsin supper club. It’s definitely worth checking out, but be prepared for a larger bill at the end of the dinner. Oh and they had a great selection of wine and other specialty cocktails. Would highly recommend checking it out.

Decided to come here with my family for thanksgiving dinner and it was a disappointment to say the least. $700 bill with tip for 7 people(4 of which were kids). The server was friendly and attentive, the food though not worth the top dollar. The menu stats how they work closely with all the providers e including fish mongers and butcher yet the beef is from stock yards which is an exclusive brand of US Foods 21 days aged which is nothing special as it’s the standard.

Bread service was lacking, the beet salad or should I say arugula salad garnished with a few unevenly cooked beets, creamy feta was minimal, the mound of arugula muddled everything, vinaigrette was oily, and it lacked seasoning (salt and pepper) overall poorly executed.

The octopus was fantastic tender seasoned well and it all fell short as it was missing the chimichurri

The scallop app was tasty scallops cooked really well, the butternut PUREE wasn’t a mousse and sold a promise on something that wasn’t there. Overall the dish was tasty.

My daughter got the butternut risotto which was just undercooked with some of the rice brittle and crumbly, $28 for 2/3 of a cup of arborio rice and butternut puree is insanely over priced.

The turkey dinner was the deal of the night! A holiday sized entree and the turkey it’s self gave of deli breast vibes which was unexpected as it was supposedly stone wood farms turkey.

The sides were a serious let down, Brussels lack flavor of any kind and the asparagus was raw.

Porterhouse not worth $100 you can get a porterhouse for 2 at peter lugers for $150 for dry aged prime beef.

The filet was cooked unevenly and lack salt
The maitre d butter was also flavor less

Matt was our waiter last night and it was the best experience I’ve had in quite some time. He was super knowledgeable (19 years at the WB) and attentive, and just an all-around good guy. I recommend paying him a visit — you won’t be disappointed!

This is one of the famous establishments in Killington. The Wobbly Barn is a nightclub and steakhouse, which is a unique combination, to say the least! Our food tonight was outstanding, we actually couldn’t believe how good it was. The service at the bar was great as well. We couldn’t recommend the Wobbly Barn highly enough for an amazing dining experience!

A classic American steak house experience! Perfect family feel with a creative menu and some of the best service I’ve ever experienced…and I’ve been to many Michelin star restaurants (not gloating just giving references). I would FIGHT someone in mud for the chance to eat here again. Don’t think about it. Just go!

Meh mediocre experience. There are not a lot of options in killington. We went at a little bit before six pm in a Saturday, had to wait twenty minutes for two people, the cocktails (hot toddy and Manhattan) were mediocre and not well made. My friend had salmon and green beans and said the green beans were hard and salmon was ok, that is was the least favorite meal of our ski weekend, I had the octopus appetizer which was greasy and heavy and disappointing. The scallop appetizer was on the spot and very good. Would only go back bc there are no other options available not out of choice but necessity
