Stopped here since we heard lots of Appalachian Trail hikers love this place and recommend it. It’s not far from the AT trail head. Food delicious, drinks as well. Hikers don’t forget to sign the logbook by the pool table at the window thanks for a lovely evening

Love this place! The bartenders were attentive and friendly and remembered my name! The chef himself came out to ask me how I liked the food. He makes a lot of his own creative recipes. The patrons were friendly too and the bathroom was clean! Just a local bar with top notch food and service. I know a lot of Appalachian Trail hikers stop here. Plenty of parking across the street as well. Oh, and the carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had! I got one piece to taste and my mom sent me back for more! Lol. They have a black bean burger and Beyond Burger for vegetarian options. Monday nights are pool nights, Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays, Wednesdays are steak nights, and the first Saturday of the month is karaoke. Fish tacos were delicious and so were the sweet potato fries!

Local tavern provides good food at reasonable prices. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was decidedly local and comfortable. I went with a burger, and it and the fries came out very nice – it’s a real grill. Definitely recommend!

This place is a absolute hidden gem! Best food , amazing people (owner and bar tenders and the cook staff!!!) I’ve been all over and this place feels like home for my lady and myself. I never had a bad time , food is always incredibly good, fair prices and everything is clean and everyone’s so friendly. My go to place when I have time to eat out.

Very pleasant lunch experience here. I had the Beyond Burger and my dining partner had the wings. All was delicious and the service was friendly. The place definitely needs a facelift outside but inside was clean and even the other customers at the bar smiled and said hi!

This small business deserves ALL of your attention! They have the BEST bar food around that’s high quality and made with love, at prices you don’t see anywhere else in this area of New York anymore…. They are forever my go-to wing and burger spot (my ultimate comfort food time and time again)…. Don’t let the rustic appearance keep you from giving this place a try. I will forever recommend this spot to everyone I know, as I always have. Overall, the friendly bartenders, chefs, and patrons really hit it home.. A small town/ homey feel that could never be replicated. **As an addition, I’m adding a pic of just one of the several thoughtful little quotes and drawings on my takeout tonight for Halloween… in the simplest way, this made my night! Thank you Wits End and staff for always being the same hidden gem over the years <3**

We finished up a day-hike over at High Point and drove over for some food around 4-ish in the afternoon. Drinks were good and the beer was cold!
The natural wings were tasty. I ask for HOT since I was unsure about the SUICIDE ones (you never know how hot wings are going to be since they fluctuate so much from place to place). I asked for some suicide sauce on the side, however they were out.
It definitely had the vibe of a local hangout and there was a boisterous and headed conversation amoung the patrons at the bar.
All in all, I would certainly go back! After all, with a name like Wits End, why would you not want to go back?!?!
