Overall the experience here was one to note. The atmosphere here attempts to replicate the feeling of a small downtown restaurant from philly which it kind of does. The food here isn’t philly authentic but has very good strong roots in italian cuisine. The crust while thick, had the perfect amount of chew to it where your jaw didn’t feel like it just clocked in for it’s own job like how other pizza places do. Overall, would come back again.

Nice, casual pub atmosphere. I had the Capone sandwich with a Caesar salad. Both were very good. We went on a Monday for lunch while working nearby so we did not try any of their beers.
I imagine it gets loud when crowded, but that would be expected.
Recommended.

We had a pleasant first experience here at Wise Guys Pizzeria in Roanoke. Our server Joey was awesome, super attentive, recommended some local favorites and overall, the food was so fresh and amazing. Nothing was over the top, but just as it should taste. I can tell the atmosphere would be awesome in the summer time with the inside and outside bar, lots of places to sit, and make options to choose from. If you need a fix for pastas, pizzas, and wings, I’d definitely put this place in your top contenders. Joey did an amazing job and being attentive, communicated well when the food was arriving, and even kept our water glasses full. Always appreciated! Great job Joey and Wise Guys Pizzeria for the amazing experience! Will definitely be back for more!

Larry and the whole team are amazing and so friendly. The pizza is great and the garlic knots should be illegal because they’re so addictive.

We found hair in the food and cups were not clean. Food tasted good but couldn’t get over the hair and overall uncleanliness. Waiter was nice but couldn’t answer any questions about the menu. Atmosphere and music were great but probably won’t be back.

Been enjoying this location for 5 years.
I’ve been using their mobile app all this time for carry out. Today it didn’t work after much trying. Had to go in and order in person. Found out that they changed their computer system and niches only way to order online is through Google Maps?
Wish they could cancel their app or make a note on it explaining that it doesn’t work and his go order online. Seems that are losing out on business…

Absolutely delicious food. Our waitress was Dakota and she was fantastic!!! My pasta was some of the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Everyone else loved their pizza. The music playlist was great, it was just too loud lol. We’ll be back! So good.

We went here on a gorgeous Friday night because they had a good outdoor seating area with a pass-through bar. They have a great selection of beers and a ton of variety of food. We started with an appetizer of the Wise Guys Meatballs which were good, but not outstanding. A little dense and I just got the feeling they were simply reheated and not fresh, but that’s my unfounded speculation. Between my wife and teenage son, we ordered a medium Godfather Supreme (basically everything deluxe), and three personals (Metroport Macdaddy, Untouchable, Flamethrower). I liked the Untouchable most. My son had no complaints about The Godfather. The waitress was friendly but on a night where they didn’t seem that busy and at restricted capacity, it did take forty minutes to get the pizzas. The place has a fantastic location, good atmosphere, good variety and choice, and decent enough food. It’s not the best you’ve ever eaten and not the worst. So enjoy your night on the patio with a beer and some food and call it a win.

Wise Guys Pizzeria was fantastic! I have celiac disease and the staff was so incredibly accommodating to ensure I could safely eat gluten free! I’m so excited to have somewhere new to enjoy delicious gluten free pizza and pasta!

Wise Guys Pizza in Roanoke is a great spot for quick takeout—our order was ready fast every time. The pizza is really good, especially the Hot Honey, which has the perfect balance of sweet and heat. The Mobster was a bit too strong for our taste buds, but the dough itself tastes fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the better pizza options in the area.
