Beggars pizza very very cheesy pizza. My husband and son split the bacon medium thin crust. They said it was absolutely delicious. I had an order of meatballs which was very tasty and only $1.99 great price for meatballs. The atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant looks completely remodeled. Very clean on the inside, and a very friendly waitress that took care of us. We will definitely come back again, the food is fabulous!

This restaurant has amazing gluten free pizza. The decor is unique, and the staff does a great job. After washing my hands, I was so happy to see the foot door opener, which means this review is post pandemic time LOL If you are looking for some delicious pizza I would swing by here and treat yourself.

I’m retired and I enjoy lunch at Mokena’s Beggars weekly. Today, I order an early dinner pizza at 5:45pm. The Pizza was horrible. It was totally burnt. I’ve never had any pizza like that served to me. No worker should have ever served a burnt pizza. My time was totally wasted without any empathy or compensation. Totally disappointed in pizza and lack of reconciliation from Management. Do yourself a favor and go to the other pizza places in Frankfort and Mokena.

I drove all the way from Colorado to get a deep dish pizza in Chicago. This was the first place I decided to go because the pictures look amazing. What I got instead of a deep dish pizza I like it to a cardboard frisbee with undercooked vegetables. It tasted like nobody cared in the kitchen. And it was not a deep dish pizza at all. It took them 40 minutes to make this hot trash. And the inside looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1979. I’m not sure anybody working there was out of high school! Under no circumstances… Even if every restaurant on the planet burnt down, and this was the only one left, should you ever go here! The food is awful and nobody cares.

Tried this place for the first time and I must say that the pizza is really great. We had the tavern style with sausage and pepperoni and it was fantastic. We also tried the deep dish and I didn’t have much expectation for this as there are so many great places that do deep dish so well. I was shocked at how good it was. Honestly what holds it back from being as good as say Geno’s or Lou’s is the crust. The crust in those places are as good as the pizza is and I just can’t say that about Beggars. Thin crust is a solid 10 though and realistically that would be what I would order on a regular basis.

I am a huge fan of beggars. Love their pizza. This was my first time at this location. Food and atmosphere were good but the service was poor. Took forever to have a waitress visit our table. And, the restaurant was not very busy which was surprising for a Saturday night. Also, the waitress forgot to bring me my drink and I had to find someone else to help me. I saw three servers just standing talking in the bar area. I mistook one of them as our waitress. But, she found our waitress and had her deliver my drink. She did not even apologize for forgetting my beverage. And, it took a while for her to bring us our check. Had the restaurant been busy, I could have understood. But there were probably only four or five other tables occupied. I think some additional training would be helpful.
