I flew to Buffalo to eat pizza for 3 days. Of all the photos I’ve seen of Buffalo pizza, the Wise Guys photos always looked the best. This was my first stop after I landed this morning and this was the pizza. When I first saw the thickness of the pepperoni, I thought it was going to be a little too thick for me but when I tasted it at the temperature they cooked it at; this is the perfect thickness for this char and this pizza. Jasmine told me she made it with pride for me. Pride? This thing was made by the gods on Mount Vesuvius! Bocce Club has a big hill to climb tomorrow. Twice now we’ve stopped by for pizza and wings before a show in Buffalo (coming in from Roc) and it was an excellent choice.

Ordered delivery because of the great reviews and this location was SUPER close. They estimated it would take 60-65 minutes, which seemed like a long time for 1 pizza and 1 calzone. We ended up calling after 88 minutes to see what the eta was because we never got a follow up email or text either. They were like “yeah that orders out for delivery” and then hung up lol. Got our food at about 8:15pm, ordered at 6:40pm, and the place was like 5 mins away. Should’ve ordered pickup, but the food was mids anyway. 🙁

I never tried wise guys ever and have lived in Buffalo all my life some weeks ago i ordered the chicken souvlaki salad and it was a large and it was excellent the chicken was well cooked i enjoyed it very much and it was enough for 4 ppl. Then i tried the steak souvlaki salad and again it was excellent.today i ordered the large clark kent pizza and the meatballs on the pizza were juicy and with the hot honey and pepperonies that is the perfect pizza and im picky about pizza wise guys has not disappointed me yet they will get more orders from me thank you wise guys excellent job.

Honest review. They could easily be a 5 star place if they were consistent. Some days slices are huge some times there half the size. Some times pizza not cooked enough, some times it’s really good and other times it’s black on the bottom. For 11 dollars for 2 slices you’d think your getting enough to fill you up and it will taste decent. I Keep going back because the first two times I went it was great. Then a few times in a row it’s was like I described with burnt or not done enough. Then it was good again one time and now the slices I just got were way smaller than last time. Just gana look elsewhere to spend my money. It’s a shame because I live so close and everyone around here I know tells me they’re the best around but if they can’t be consistent then I’m not going to waste my money here. Rather drive the few extra minutes to imperial.

They never miss and if they slip a little they always come correct with excellent customer service!! Our favorite pizzeria in the area absolutely amazing food like I said in the beginning they never miss!! Fingers, subs, pizza, cheesecake… Nothing but respect and honor to the owners yall have a real stand up pizza spot and we appreciate it. Thank you for caring about your customers. The classic Buffalo tasting pizza pie like 1992 all over again bravo.

Pay $60 for just a large cheese and pep pizza with 20 wings med. pretty standard in buffalo as in for an order. Charged an extra $2 for medium wings which they considered specialty sauce. Went here all the time as a kid when I grew up over there. The quality has dropped a lot as I see. Crust ripped off the slice, dough missing from the bottom. Just one big slop. Dough raw also. To be told that all they can do is just offer me credit over the phone or a gift card for the sauce up charge, they didn’t seem to care about the quality about the product. Asked to talk to jay the owner, she said he will call me if he finds the time at some point and time in the future. Another staple gone… seems illegal to overcharge a customer and then say, well our policy is to keep your money and only return it in a gift card so that you are forced to spend more money with us.
