I got the masala chai. It was good, but tasted watered down? I don’t think it was sweetened, which is okay because I don’t care for sweetened chai. Something was missing from it. Anyway, the place is very cozy and chill. After I ordered my drink, I went to the restroom. The room was a bit gross. It had a sour smell and the toilet seat had poop bits on it. I think it was that way due to a previous customer, but after an hour it still wasn’t cleaned. The whole time I was there the stench of the bathroom stayed in senses and I couldn’t get the image of the poopy bits on the toilet out of my mind. The bathroom is probably not like that all of the time, I don’t know. This was my first time visiting. I probably won’t come again, but I had a good time reading my book and drinking chai.

I was very surprised with this awesome chilled spot, amazing drinks, food and people. When you walk in you’re greeted with friendly staff member.
This cafe seems to be Indian inspired, they have this unique Kashmiri latte which my wife tried and she is in LOVE with this drink!!!!!
I had an amazing double espresso, pulled just right. Was tempted by the samosa, will be back. Very pleased with the pricing.

If you want to experience a great customer service, you need meet Zoomie (her pic below). I have been a frequent customer at the Wise Cup for the past four years. Wise Cup staff has been the best and one of the reasons I always come back. I am a customer service person, as I work with it. Therefore, I value and appreciate an exceptional customer service. Yes, the food is great, coffee is delicious, tea leaves are also a nice touch with an inviting atmosphere. But a bad customer service, people would not come back. Wise Cup has it all. I am just a regular customer and as today is the day to show gratitude more than other days. I am here to wish Wise Cup staff a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for being such wonderful people and bring so much warmth and joy to Oak Park. And Zoomie! You are an example of what Customer Service is about! My apologies if I misspelled your name.

I went in yesterday because I liked the interior. A young south Asian lady was manning the counter she was very rude and nasty i greeted her twice and she just cut her eyes at me like i was bothering her. I asked if she had matcha and she point up and said “ um yeah the menu is there”….she was so nasty I went to Vigo up the street better atmosphere and more space to sit down and study. When I told her I was gonna pass she says “perfect thanks” …..I will never go back to this place lol

Wise cup is hands down the best coffee shop in Oak Park and even the surrounding area for just about anyone who wants quality coffee, coffee shop food, service, and especially a nice peaceful interment to work or have a nice little conversation. On top of all of this, they have (coming from me, an Indian person) pretty much the only descent Indian food in the area with the monthly pop-ups, as well as samosas and deferent Indian drinks available daily. And as the cherry on top it is a locally, Asian, and female owned business. I could not recommend them more.

it seems like a really nice place and the baristas seem like sweethearts but i honestly was really disappointed by the matcha latte. it was quite pricey for the quality and my drink honestly just tasted like sweet milk. if i were to go back i wouldn’t get the matcha again and just opt in for a latte or something unless the owners invest in better quality matcha .

My matcha latte tasted like plain milk, the barista forgot about the apple strudel I ordered and I never got it until I asked for it.
Even though it is a trendy spot right now, I will not be going back 🙁
