Good selection of food. It’s an all you can eat place in an old school BBQ restaurant setting. The ribs were my favorite. The hash was different from what I’m used to but good. I’m glad we found this place while detouring off the interstate.

The best yellow BBQ sauce in the State. Always plenty simmering in a pot on the buffet of rice, hash, chopped bbq, ribs, chicken, baked beans, chicken, cole slaw, bread, and tea. Hash is the best in the state and the pulled or chunked bbq is always tender and tasty.

I’ve been going to Wise’s since I was a young kid. Always consistent in taste and value! The same food since 1972. If a family business stays open serving just two days a week, they have lots of love from people. No, not fancy but just good rustic bbq, family style seating. I drive 50 miles to come here. Only get there maybe 2 times a year. But worth it.

I placed my order via phone and spoke with Gary, who says he is the manager. I told him what I wanted and gave specific details as to how I wanted my food with NO SAUCE ON ANYTHING!!! RIBS, PULLED PORK AND HASH AND RICE!! When I got home, in Clinton everything was sauced. I called back and asked for a member of management and Gary said, I’m the manager, what’s up! I told him what the issue was and he told me he took the order and I didn’t tell him no sauce!! He is a liar!! He made the mistake, he should make it right!!! My family and I visit this place almost every weekend and have no issues!! Very unprofessional, rude and unwilling to please the customer!!! $62.50 worth of food that my family cannot eat!!! I WILL NEVER SPEND ANYMORE MONEY WITH THIS PLACE, THANKS A BUNCH GARY!!! I WILL BE SURE TO TELL A FRIEND TO TELL A FRIEND!!!

very disappointing. im almost 100% sure the pulled pork wasnt smoked. it was tough and had big hunks of stingy very tough meat. and that BBQ sauce? its was greasy and watery at the same time.
